Abstract
The role of video media, books, images and maps in studying history is essential. Students
will be able to more easily understand the role of historical figures. However, to study the
history students can only be on time at the school, then when some media in learning
history merged into an application, in the study of history will be easier and can be done
anywhere. Using the research stages consisted of problem identification, problem
formulation, research design, library studies, data collection, data processing and a false
assertion results, then build by a aplication of media learning and recognition of
historical figures. This application using Google maps which is a medium for showing a
map of the location of the birth of historical figures, Youtube API is used to display video
of the historical figures, with and feature of quiz guess the photo historical figures which
are then packaged into one in order to facilitate students in studying historical figures
wherever they are.
