ABSTRAK

Percobaan telah dilakukan di kandang percobaan Laboratorium
Ternak Unggas, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor,
Sumedang Jawa Barat mulai bulan Agustus sampai dengan September
2012. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kandungan enregi
metabolis dalam ransum terhadap performan itik jantan lokal pada fase
Starter. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperiment dengan menggunakan
Rancangan Acak Lengkap, dengan tiga perlakuan dan tujuh ulangan.
Perlakuan terdiri atas ransum dengan tingkatan energi metabolis R1 = EM
2800kkal/kg dan 21% P ; R2 = EM 3000 kkal/kg dan 21% P ; R3 = EM
3200 kkal/kg dan 21% P. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa tingkatan energi
metabolis dalam ransum tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan bobot
badan, konsumsi ransum, dan efisiensi ransum itik lokal jantan. Tingkatan
energi metabolis sebesar 2800 kkal/kg dengan protein 21 persen dalam
ransum itik jantan lokal sudah menghasilkan performa yang optimal.

THE IMPACT OF ENERGY METABOLIC RATION LEVEL ON LOCAL
DRAKE PHASE STARTER PERFORMANCE

ABSTRACT

The trial was conducted in experimental cages Poultry Laboratory, Faculty
of Animal Husbandry, University of Padjadjaran, Jatinangor, Sumedang
West Java from August to September 2012. The study aims to determine
the levels of metabolites in the ration energy on the performance of local
drake Starter phase. This research used experimental methods a Completely
Randomized Design, with three treatments and seven replicatime. The
Treatment consist of rations with metabolic energy levels R1 = EM
2800kkal/kg and 21% P; R2 = EM 3000 kcal / kg and 21% P; R3 = EM
3200 kcal / kg and 21% Protein. The results showed that the levels of
metabolic energy in the ration effected the growth of body weight, ration
consumption, and efficiency of local male duck rations. Energy metabolic
levels of 2800 kcal / kg and 21% P in rations influence on body weight

gain, consumption of rations, and the optimal efficiency of the ration.
