NILAI ENERGI METABOLIS RANSUM YANG MENGANDUNG LIMBAH MIE
PADA ITIK PEDAGING

ABSTRAK
Penelitian dengan judul Nilai Energi Metabolis Ransum yang
Mengandung Limbah Mie pada Itik Pedaging telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui
nilai energi metabolis semu (EM) dan energi metabolis semu terkoreksi nitrogen
(EMn) pada itik pedaging yang diberi ransum mengandung limbah mie. Penelitian
dilakukan di Laboratorium Produksi Ternak Unggas Fakultas Peternakan
Universitas Padjadjaran, Sumedang, mulai tanggal 1 Agustus sampai dengan 14
Agustus 2012. Perlakuan terdiri dari empat macam ransum, yaitu: ransum yang
mengandung limbah mie 0% (R0), 10% (R1), 20% (R2), dan 30% (R3).
Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5
kali ulangan. Sebanyak 20 ekor itik jantan berumur 6 minggu ditempatkan dalam
20 kandang individu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat ditarik
kesimpulan bahwa pemberian ransum yang mengandung limbah mie sampai 20
persen masih menghasilkan nilai energi metabolis semu (EM) dan energi
metabolis semu terkoreksi nitrogen (EMn) yang baik pada itik pedaging.
Kata kunci : limbah mie, itik pedaging, energi metabolis semu (EM), energi

ABSTRACT
Research entitled Metabolism Energy Ration that Contain Noodle Waste
on Meat Type Duck was done to know apparent metabolism energy (AME) and
nitrogen corrected apparent metabolism energy (AMEn) in meat type duck that
given by ration contains noodle waste. Research is done at the Laboratory of
Poultry Padjadjaran University Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Sumedang, from
date 1th August until with 14th August 2012. The treatment conduct of four kinds
ration, which is: ration that contain noodle waste 0% (R0), 10% (R1), 20% (R2),
and 30% (R3). Experiments using Completely Randomzed Design with 4
threatments and 5 replications. Total of 20 duck age 6 weeks were placed in 20
individual cages. Base observational result and study gets to be gleaned from
that ration application that contain noodle waste until 20 percent is still results to
assess apparent metabolism energy (AME) and nitrogen corrected apparent
metabolism energy (AMEn) one that good on meat type duck.
