My speciality concerns non-equilibrium statisticak mechanics via the classical density functional
theory (DFT).
I started my research in DFT and its application to non-equilibrium systems when I took my Masters
degree in Bristol University, UK. The title of my M.Sc. dissertation is "Theory of Dynamics in Driven
Lattice Fluids" under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Schmidt, now a lecturer of Bayreuth
University in Germany. In the dissertation we put forward a possible connection between lattice gas
model and the totally asymmetric exclusion process through Lattice Fundamental Measure Theory

Then I continue my PhD in the same University under the same supervisor. The title of my PhD
thesis is "Various Correspondences between Simple Driven and Equilibrium Systems". Here our
work on the relationship between equilibrium and non-equilibrium systems are extended to a more
general concept, hence producing the dynamical density functional theory.
