Hubungan Mekanisme Koping dengan Konflik Peran Perawat Wanita di Ruang Perawatan Intensif RSUP Dr.Hasan Sadikin Bandung.

ABSTRAK

Perawat wanita di ruang intensif yang sudah menikah memiliki kewajiban
terhadap beberapa peran. Perannya sebagai istri sekaligus ibu juga harus dijalani
dengan seimbang, jika tidak akan menimbulkan konflik. Sebagai cara untuk
mengatasi konflik tersebut, diperlukan sebuah mekanisme koping. Penelitian
bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan antara mekanisme koping dan konflik peran
perawat wanita di ruang perawatan intensif RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung.
Metode penelitiannya deskriptif korelasional yang mengkaji hubungan
antar variabel. Populasi penelitian yaitu perawat wanita yang sudah menikah,
sebanyak 72 perawat. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dengan
kriteria perawat sudah memiliki anak sehingga didapatkan jumlah sampel 62
perawat. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu WOC (Lazarus and Folkman) dan WFC
& FWC Scales (Netemayer).
Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar perawat wanita di ruang
perawatan intensif menggunakan mekanisme koping Positive Reappraisal
(69,4%) dan perawat mengalami konflik peran tinggi (53,2%). Hasil korelasi dari
kedua variabel didapatkan p-value 0,000.
Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu sebagian besar perawat wanita di ruang
perawatan intensif cenderung menggunakan mekanisme koping positive
reappraisal dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antar kedua variabel. Saran

dari penelitian ini adalah diadakannya pelatihan manajemen waktu dan
manajemen konflik untuk mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan perannya tanpa
menimbulkan tekanan.

ABSTRACT

Female nurses in intensive care who already married have obligations to
its multiple roles and their role as a wife and mother should also be undertaken in
balance. If it does not balance, it will lead to a conflict. As a way to resolve the
conflict, a coping mechanism is required. The aim of this research is to identify
the correlation between coping mechanisms and role conflict of female nurses in
the intensive care department of Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung Hospital.
The method used was descriptive correlational research that examines the
correlation between variables. The populations in this study are 72 married
female nurses. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with
nurse’s criteria is they who already had a child, so the obtained sample is 62
nurses. The measuring instruments used are WOC (Lazarus and Folkman) and

WFC & FWC Scales (Netemayer).
The results of the research was most of female nurses in intensive care
unit were used positive reappraisal coping mechanisms 69,4% and nurses
respondents were experiencing high role conflic 53.2%. The correlation results
obtained p-value 0.000 from those two variables. It can be concluded that there
was a significant correlation those two variables.
The conclusion of this research was there was a significant correlation
between positive reappraisal coping mechanisms with role conflict of female
nurses in intensive care unit. Suggestions from this research were to hold a time
management training and conflict management to optimize the role
implementation without causing any stress.
