In carrying out this study, the data gathering technique of this research consists of questionnaire technique and personal focused interview. This research
used close-ended questionnaire to simplify the result of the data because close- ended questions are easy to use, score, and code for analysis on a computer as it is
proposed by Fraenkel Wallen 2009. Besides, this research also used semistructured interview. Semistructured interview means the interviewer has set
series of structured questions with open-form questions in order to get systematical additional information Merriam, 2009. The main source of this
research was collected by using questionnaire which resulting in percentage data then it was validated and verified descriptively by using the result of the focused
interview in order to meet the validity and reliability of the data.
E. Data Analysis Technique
The very first step in analyzing the data gathered was recording the result of the questionnaire. Having composed the questionnaire, there are some degrees
of agreement for each statement namely ‘strongly agree’, ‘agree’, ‘disagree’ and ‘strongly disagree’. As the way to summarize the data in frequency distribution,
this research used the most frequent degree of agreement chosen. However, certain formula was used as the quantification to calculate participants’ answers
yet still the results which are in form of numbers described and interpreted in form of words. The result is in form of numbers and will be processed using formula to
attain the percentage data. The formula is presented as follows:
42
Σs : A number of respondents who choose one of the degrees of agreement
Σn : The total number of population
In other words, the researcher will find the result by counting how many research participants will choose ‘Strongly Agree’, ‘Agree’, ‘Disagree’ and
‘Strongly Disagree’ for each statement. The percentage result of the mode itself will be used as the final result to answer the research problem which leads to the
final conclusion. The picture of data analysis table is presented as follows.

After having collected the numbers of degree of agreement in each statement, the current researcher described the result showed in percentage in

of the interview was classified and described based on the categories in order to seek the meaning beyond these numbers in each item. The last step is to make the
triangulation among the students’ views which were gained through questionnaire and interview, and the theoretical views which shows the precise and same
relation heading to the particular conclusion.
