A. Macam-macam Proses Pembuatan Isopropanolamin

Secara umum, isopropanolamin dapat diproduksi melalui beberapa proses, yaitu: 1. Proses aqueous Prosedur aqueous phase merupakan proses pembuatan isopropanolamin yang ekonomis dan paling aman. Proses ini tanpa menggunakan katalis, namun menggunakan air yang cukup banyak. Reaksi dijalankan pada temperatur 32°C dan tekanan 1 atm dengan rasio mol amoniak : propilen oksida = 5 : 1.
