Slide Options Controls

The Slide Options Controls are designed to give you maximum creative control over you slides.

Precision Preview allows you to edit and preview keyframes to increase control and precision.

The Precision Preview is resizable and is used to accurately control keyfram- ing and timing.

Large/Regular Preview displays a larger version of the slide op- tions window you are working in.

Play/Pause begins and ends playback preview within slide op- tions.

Other Controls

Previous/Next Slide lets you move between slides within slide options.

Ok applies changes to slide options and closes the dialog to return you to the main workspace.

Cancel disregards any changes you have made since opening the Slide Options window.

Slide Options Categories

Slides controls Slide Styles, basic slide settings such as timing, and the background for the slide. It contains three tabs:

• Slide Styles which allows you to quickly create entire slides by adding layers and choosing a pre-made style to use. These styles come with motion, audio, adjustments, and everything else.

• Slide Settings which allows you to add notes to your slide, name your slide, change slide timing, confi gure a watermark, or add interactivity. • Background which allows you to confi gure a custom background for your slide.

Layers controls all settings relating to layers, and contains three tabs:

• Layer Settings allows you to confi gure your layer size, position,

masking, adjustment layer, and template options. • Video Settings allows you to change all aspects of your video, such as time, audio level, and trimming. • Editing applies adjustments such as color correction, rotation and drop shadows to a layer in the slide.

Eff ects allows you to confi gure both Motion and Adjustment ef- fects with keyframes. It contains two tabs:

• Motion Eff ects adds and controls motion eff ects like pan and zoom, and allows you to add keyframes. • Adjustment Eff ects adds and controls visual changes to your slide like brightness, opacity, or colorization and allows you to add keyframes.

Captions allows you to confi gure both the appearance and eff ects associated with captions on the slide. This category contains two tabs:

• Caption Settings allows you to insert text on a slide and customize the font style, color and eff ects for text • Caption Motion controls caption motion, rotation, skewing and more using keyframes.

Sounds adds sounds and records voice-overs for a slide, controls sound interactions during a show.

Slide

The Slide category controls the basic settings for the con- tent of your slide. Among other things, you can do the following in this window:

• Select, create, or remove slide styles. •

Add a name or notes t0 the slide. • Control slide interactivity options. • Confi gure a watermark for the slide. •

Set a custom background for the slide.

To Access the Slide category:

11. In the slide list, click on the slide you would like to modify.

12. Choose Slide > Slide > and click on one of the Slide tabs you would like to use: Styles, Settings, or Background.

13. Make adjustments to the selected layer.

14. Click < Ok >.
