ABSTRAK
ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS KEBIJAKAN MONETER TERHADAP
PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI INDONESIA
Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana pengaruh
kebijakan moneter melalui suku bunga SBI terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi
apakah hubungan trsebut mempunyai ketergantungan yang timbal balik. Tujuan
penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebijakan moneter dalam tingkat
suku bunga SBI terhadap tumbuh kembangnya perekonomian di Indonesia, serta
mengetahui hubungan antara kebijakan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia.
Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini ialah terdapat pengaruh negatif antara
kebijakan moneter didalam suku bunga SBI terhadap tingkat PDB di Indonesia
serta terdapat hubungan ketergantungan yang timbal balik antara kebijakan
moneter dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia.
Pengumpulan data sekunder dilakukan dengan data runtun waktu (time
series) selama kurun waktu 1998-2009 yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber
seperti : Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), dan sumber bacaan lainnya seperti bukubuku, jurnal-jurnal dan website-website yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini.
Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Vector Autoregression (VAR) dengan
menggunakan Uji Asumsi dan Uji Kausalitas Granger serta Estimasi VAR untuk
hipotesis pertama dan hipotesis kedua.
Pada hipotesis pertama hasil penelitian mnunjukkan bahwa secara serempak
kebijakan moneter didalam suku bunga SBI mempunyai hubungan yang negatif
terhadap tingkat PDB di Indonesia. Pada Estimasi VAR menunjukkan terdapat
hubungan ketergantungan yang timbal balik antara kebijakan moneter dan
pertumbuhan ekonomi.

The Analysis Effectiveness of the Effect of Monetary Policy Towards
the Economic Growth in Indonesia
The problem formulation of the research is: how much the monetary
policy by bank interest rate (SBI) gives influence towards the growth of Indonesia
economy where the connection has its mutual dependency.
The objective of this research is to find out the influence of monetary
policy on SBI interest rate towards the growth and development of economy in
Indonesia, and also to see the connection between the monetary policy and the
growth of economy in Indonesia.
The hypothesis of the research is: there is a negative impact between the
policy on SBI interest rate and the level of PDB in Indonesia, and there is also a
mutual dependency connection between the policy and the growth of economy in
Indonesia.
Secondary data collection was done with time series data during a period
of 1998-2009 which was gained from various sources such as BPS ( Central
Statistic Agency), and from other sources such as: books, journals, and websites
that are related with the research.
The analysis method used is Vector auto Regression (VAR) by using
Assumption test and Causality test of
Granger, and the estimation of VAR on the first and second hypothesis.
In the first hypothesis the result of the research shows that the policy shows a
negative connection towards the PDB in Indonesia.
In the estimation of VAR it shows that there is a mutual connection
between the policy and the economy growth.
