Abstrak
Luka adalah rusaknya struktur dan fungsi anatomis normal akibat proses patologis
yang berasal dari internal maupun eksternal mengenai organ tertentu. Perawatan
luka yang buruk pada luka fraktur terbuka akan mengakibatkan masalah kesehatan

yang serius, diantaranya infeksi pada luka. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk menggali secara mendalam tentang pengalaman pasien fraktur terbuka
dalam merawat luka. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode
fenomenologi, pada penelitian ini jumlah sampel sebanyak lima partisipan yang
sudah memenuhi kriteria, dengan harapan terjadi saturasi data dengan jumlah
sampel tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti ikut terjun langsung dan aktif
dengan partisipan untuk mendapatkan informasi, pengumpulan data dilakukan
dengan cara wawancara yaitu pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan peneliti
berinteraksi langsung terhadap partisipan. Hasil analisa data teridentifikasi tiga
tema, yaitu: upaya penyembuhan luka, faktor pendorong penyembuhan luka,
faktor penghambat penyembuhan luka. Hasil penelitan ini diharapkan dapat
menjadi masukan dalam meningkatkan cara merawat luka yang baik.

ABSTRACT

Wound is the broken of structure and normal anatomic function because of
pathologic process of the internal and external certain organs. Bad wound nursing
in open fracture wound will cause serious health problems, such as infection. The
purpose of this research was to identify deeply about the experience of the open
fracture client in overcoming wound. This was a qualitative research with
phenomenology method, and the sample was 5 participants who had fulfilled the
criterion conditioned with the hope that the saturation data with the amount
samples.
In this research, the researcher directly involved and be active with the
participants to get information, to collect data by interviewing and interacting
directly to the participants. From the data analysis it was identified 3 themes, was
that: the effort of curing the wound, the supporting factors in curing wound, and
the barriers factors in curing wound. This research result is then hoped to be an
input in improving a good nursing of wound.
