Abstraksi :
The purpose of translation also encourages the relationship of people and their
country for many functions. Translating process is an interesting subject,
although some people said that it is so complicated but there is some ways s to
make a good translation. The writer chooses a short story entitled SORRY,
WRONG NUMBER taken from CnS Magazine because the story is interesting.
The writer uses a theory by transferring meaning from one language into another
with equivalent meaning in the target language and library research. From the
kind of theory and methodology, the writer finds several problems in translating
the article, such as: in equivalent meaning, English utterance. But in the end, the
writer tries to give some suggestions for solving the problems.
