ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Kemampuan Literasi Informasi Mahasiswa
Tingkat Akhir Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran. Adapun tujuan
dari penelitain ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan literasi
informasi mahasiswa dan membantu perancangan program literasi informasi
untuk mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi. Metode yang di
gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Survay Deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang di
gunakan adalah kuota sampling. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan
kuisioner yang disebarkan kepada 78 responden. Teknik analisis data yang
digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian
diketahui bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa dalam proses
mengerjakan skripsi sudah sangat baik. Mahasiswa sudah menerapkan tahapatahap literasi informasi yang benar dalam proses mengerjakan skripsi.

ABSTRACT

This research describes the Competency of Information Literacy Last Year
Student in Padjadjaran University Faculty of Communication,. The purpose of

this research is to determine how the information literacy skills of students and
for helping to design information literacy program for last year students in the
Faculty of Communication. The method used in this study is Survay Descriptive.
The sampling technique used was quota sampling. The process of collecting data
used questionnaire distributed to 78 respondents. Based on the survey results
revealed that the information literacy skills of students in the process of working
on a thesis has been very good. Students have applied stage of information
literacy in the process of working on a thesis.
