PENGARUH EFIKASI DIRI DAN MOTIVASI BERWIRAUSAHA
TERHADAP MINAT BERWIRAUSAHA PADA MAHASISWA
FAKULTAS EKONOMI DAN BISNIS UNIVERSITAS
SUMATERA UTARA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh
efikasi diri dan motivasi berwirausaha terhadap minat berwirausaha pada
mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara. Populasi
dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Manajemen Konsentrasi Kewirausahaan
Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara yang berjumlah 164
orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Manajemen
Konsentrasi Kewirausahaan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera
Utara Stambuk 2012 dan 2013 dengan total 41 responden yang ditentukan dengan
teknik proportional sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini
dilakukan melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan studi dokumentasi. Metode analisis
data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan program SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama efikasi diri dan
motivasi berwirausaha berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap minat
berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Manajemen Konsentrasi Kewirausahaan Fakultas

Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara. Nilai R2 0,559 berarti 55,9%
minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Manajemen Konsentrasi Kewirausahaan Fakultas
Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel
efikasi diri dan motivasi berwirausaha. Sedangkan sisanya 44,1% dapat dijelaskan
oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

THE INFLUENCE OF SELF-EFFICACY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
MOTIVATION TOWARDS ENTREPRENEURSHIP INTEREST IN
STUDENTS FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH SUMATERA

The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the influence of
self-efficacy and entrepreneurship motivation towards entrepreneurship interest

in Students Faculty of Economics and Business University of North Sumatera. The
population in this research is the Entrepreneurship Concentration of Management
Student Faculty of Economics and Business University of North Sumatera that
add up to 164 people. The sample used in this study is the Entrepreneurship
Concentration of Management Student Faculty of Economics and Business
University of North Sumatera in 2012 and 2013 with a total of 41 respondents are
determined by proportional sampling techniques. Method of data collection in this
research is done through observation, questionnaires, and study the
documentation. Methods of data analysis used is multiple regression analysis with
SPSS Software. The results showed that collectively self efficacy and
entrepreneurship motivation effect positively and significantly to entrepreneurship
interest in the Entrepreneurship Concentration of Management Student Faculty of
Economics and Business University of North Sumatera. The value of R2 is 0,559
means 55,9% interest entrepreneurship in the Entrepreneurship Concentration of
Management Student Faculty of Economics and Business University of North
Sumatera could be explained by the variable self-efficacy and entrepreneurship
motivation. While the rest of it which amounted 44,1% can be explained by other
variables not examined in this study.
