Skripsi ini berjudul THE LEADING CHARACTER’S PERSONALITY
TO BECOME AN IDEALIST IN JON KRAKAUER’S INTO THE WILD.
Skripsi ini mengenai analisis kepribadian terhadap karakter utama dalam buku "Into
The Wild", dimana membahas tentang karakter dan kepribadiannya, konflik, plot,
dan faktor-faktor yang membuat karakter utama menjadi idealis. Novel ini ditulis
oleh John Krakauer. Novel ini diangkat dari biografi Christopher McCandless, kisah
hidup tragis seorang petualang idealis. Didalam skripsi ini, penulis ingin
memaparkan bagaimana kepribadian dari karakter utama dan apa saja faktor-faktor
yang mempengaruhi kepribadiannya tersebut. Adapun metode yang digunakan

penulis dalam menganalisis kepribadian dari tokoh utama pada novel ini adalah
metode deskriptif kualitatif.
