Hotel Ekonomis (Budget Hotel) di Kualanamu Arsitektur Hemat Energi
ABSTRAK
Pengunjung mancanegara yang berkunjung ke suatu tempat akan terus
meningkat setiap tahunnya apabila fasilitas pariwisata dan daya tarik rekreasi tempat
tersebut juga terus meningkat. Dengan munculnya bandara Internasional Kualanamu
di Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, serta sudah dilaksanakannya konsep tata
kota Aerotropolis di sekitar bandara, menyebabkan potensi kepariwisataan di kawasan
Deli Serdang juga semakin meningkat. Kebutuhan fasilitas-fasilitas penunjang
pariwisata juga akan terus meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah pengunjung
lokal maupun mancanegara. Jumlah kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara melalui
trasportasi udara ke Sumatera Utara dalam lima tahun terakhir (2011-2015) terjadi
peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 0.2% tiap tahunnya (BPS Prov. Sumatera Utara,
Desember 2015). Dengan adanya pertambahan jumlah pengunjung di kawasan
tersebut maka fasilitas komersil di kawasan tersebut juga terus bertambah, salah
satunya adalah Hotel. Dari berbagai klasifikasi dan tipe hotel, tentu tidak sedikit
wisatawan yang membutuhkan tempat untuk menginap dengan harga yang terjangkau.
Salah satu tipe hotel murah dengan fasilitas yang nyaman adalah Budget Hotel/ Hotel
Ekonomis. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan konsep dan perancangan hotel
ekonomis yang memungkinkan untuk dibangun di kawasan Deli Serdang dan hemat
energi.

ABSTRACT
Foreign visitors who visit a place will continue to increase every year when
tourism facilities and recreational appeal of the place also continues to increase.
With the advent of Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra,
Indonesia, and already implemented the concept of town planning Aerotropolis
around the airport, leading to the increasing potential of tourism in Deli Serdang
district. Needs tourism facilities will continue to increase by an increasing number of
local and foreign visitors. The number of tourist arrivals via air transportation to
North Sumatra in the last five years (2011-2015) there was an increase on average by
0.2% per year (BPS Prov. North Sumatra, December 2015). With the increase in the
number of visitors in the region highlights the commercial facilities in the region also
continues to grow, one of them is hotel. Of the various classifications and types of
hotel, certainly not a few travelers who need a place to stay at an affordable price
hotel. One type of cheap hotel with comfortable amenities are Budget Hotel / Hotel
Economical. This thesis aims to provide the concept and design of economical hotel
that allows it to be built in the area of Deli Serdang and energy saving.
