KEANEKARAGAMAN BURUNG DI HUTAN BATANG TORU
KABUPATEN TAPANULI UTARA
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan spesies burung di Hutan Batang Toru
Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara. Empat lokasi survei (Middle, Edge, Sekunder dan
Agroforestry) ditentukan dengan metode titik hitung (Point Count) atau IPA
(Indices Ponctuele d’Abundance-Indeks Kelimpahan pada Titik) dan metode
(Transect)
jalur.
Delapan
puluh
satu
spesies
burung teresterial
yang
dikelompokkan kedalam 28 famili dan 48 genus yang ditemukan di lokasi
penelitian. Indeks keanekaragaman tertinggi ditemukan di Edge dan indeks
keanekaragaman terendah ditemukan di Middle selama pengamatan bulan Maret.
Indeks kemerataan spesies tertinggi ditemukan di Edge selama bulan Maret dan
indeks kemerataan spesies terendah ditemukan di Middle selama bulan Maret.
Jumlah jenis burung yang paling banyak ditemukan pada lokasi sekunder
sebanyak 45 spesies dan yang paling sedikit ditemukan pada lokasi Middle
sebanyak 15 spesies.

BIRD DIVERSITY IN THE FOREST BATANG TORU NORTH

ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to examine the bird species in Batang Toru Forest
North Tapanuli. There were 4 survey location determined by point count or
Indices Ponctuele d'Abundance (IPA) and
Transect Method pathway. The
location were in middle forest, edge forest, secondary forest and agroforestry
forest. They were 81 terrestrial bird species found which were grouped into 28
families and 48 genera at reseach location. The highest diversity index was found
in the Edge forest and the lowest diversity index was in the Middle forest. The
highest species evennes indexes was founded in Edge forest and the lowest
species evenness index was in Middle forest. There were 45 most common
species of bird were founded in secondary forest, and 15 species was found in
the Middle forest.
