beliaves that muslims must
practice Islam as the
Prophet exemplified or his
colleagues (sahabat) and
tabi’in (followers of
sahabat).

: Qualitative research
The data sources are collected from the
manager of the boarding schools, the
teachers , the students, the employees,
parents of students, and school documents.
Collected data technique (documentation,
interviews and observation)
Qualitative analysis through three
activities: data reduction, data
presentation, and conclusion or verification.

Conclusion
The
form of salafi’s ideologies that
have be thaught in the Salafi boarding
schools especially in al-Uswah and
Ummu Sulaim boarding schools
Pekanbaru are avoid the violence and
concerned to purify the Muslims
worship from syirik and bid’ah.
However, the Salafi’s boarding should
be reinterpreted the concept of alwara’ wa al-bara’ , because it could be
risen hatred and hostility.
