manager of the boarding schools, the
teachers , the students, the employees,
parents of students, and school documents.
Collected data technique (documentation,
interviews and observation)
Qualitative analysis through three
activities: data reduction, data
presentation, and conclusion or verification.

schools especially in al-Uswah and

Ummu Sulaim boarding schools
Pekanbaru are avoid the violence and
concerned to purify the Muslims
worship from syirik and bid’ah.
However, the Salafi’s boarding should
be reinterpreted the concept of alwara’ wa al-bara’ , because it could be
risen hatred and hostility.
