kerja SDGs sejalan dengan tujuan pembangunan nasional yaitu memberikan kesejahteraan untuk seluruh rakyat Indonesia. Dalam upaya mencapai target SDGs

maupun target tujuan pembangunan nasional yang tertuang dalam RPJMN maupun Nawacita, diperlukan dukungan data yang kredibel dan up to date. Publikasi
statistik kesejahteraan rakyat merupakan perwujudan tanggung jawab BPS sebagai lembaga yang bertugas menyediakan data-data statistik dasar sebagai input
dalam pengukuran target SDGs dan pembangunan nasional.

Statistik yang digunakan untuk menampilkan kesejahteraan rakyat bersumber dari hasil Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas) yang merupakan survei

berbasis rumah tangga. BPS menyelenggarakan Susenas secara periodik setiap tahun pada bulan Maret dan September. Data yang disajikan dalam publikasi ini

merupakan hasil Susenas yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2016 terhadap 300.000 rumah tangga sampel.
Susenas mengumpulkan data mengenai kependudukan, pendidikan, kesehatan, fertilitas dan keluarga berencana, perumahan, teknologi informasi dan

komunikasi, tindak kejahatan, kegiatan bepergian, dan perlindungan sosial. Data-data tersebut disajikan pada tingkat nasional dan provinsi sehingga
memungkinkan keterbandingan antar wilayah. Publikasi ini diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan akan data-data sosial ekonomi baik untuk perencanaan

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a global agenda coming with a spirit that development process should consider sustainability accross generations

achieve welfare for all Indonesians. In attempt to achieve SDGs targets as well as national development goals as stated in the RPJMN and Nawacita, availability of

credible and up to date data are needed. Publication of Welfare Statistics is a manifestation of BPS-Statistics Indonesia in providing basic statistics as inputs for
SDGs and national development targets.

Statistics that is used to represent social welfare are derived from households based survey that is National Socio-Economics Survey (Susenas). BPSStatistics Indonesia held Susenas periodically on March and September. The data provided in this publication is the result of the March 2016 Susenas from 300,000
samples of households.

Susenas provide data about demography, health, fertility and family planning, housing, information and communication technology, crime, domestic

travelling, and social protection. The data presented at national and provincial level in order to allow comparability across regions. This publication is hoped to

meet the need of socio-economic data for development planning and evaluation.
