Uji Efektifitas Beberapa Entomopatogen Pada Larva Oryctes rhinoceros L. (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) di Laboratorium

RIDHA HASANAH SIHOMBING: Uji Efektifitas Beberapa Entomopatogen
Pada Larva Oryctes rhinoceros (Coleoptera: Scarabidae) di Laboratorium,
dibimbing oleh Ir. Syahrial Oemry, MS. dan Ir. Lahmuddin Lubis, MP.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas entomopatogenik
(B. thuringensis, B. bassiana dan M. anopsiliae) larva O. rhinoceros pada taraf
konsentrasi berbeda. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian,
Universitas Sumatera Utara, dari bulan Juli sampai dengan Agustus 2013,
menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) non factorial yang terdiri dari 10
perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, yaitu: Lo (Kontrol), L1 (B. thuringiensis 25gr/1l),
L2 (B. thuringiensis 50gr/1l), L3 (B. thuringiensis 75gr/1l), L4 (B. bassiana
25gr/1l), L5 (B. bassiana 50gr/1l), L6 (B. bassiana 75gr/1l), L7 (M. anisopliae
25gr/l), L8 (M. anisopliae 50gr/1l) and L9 (M. anisopliae 75gr/1l). Parameter
yang diamati adalah persentase mortalitas larva , Persentase larva yang terinfeksi
Entomopatogen dan Perilaku kematian larva oryctes rhinoceros yang terinfeksi
entomopatogen.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan B. thuringiensis 75gr/1l
adalah yang efektif terhadap mortalitas larva O. rhinoceros sebesar 100%, disusul
dengan perlakuan M. anisopliae 75gr/1l, B. bassiana 75gr/1l, B. thuringiensis
50gr/1l, M. anisopliae 50gr/1l, B. bassiana 50gr/1l, M. anisopliae 25gr/l,
B. thuringiensis 25gr/1l, and B. bassiana 25gr/1l, tingginya jumlah Larva yang

terinfeksi entomopatogen terdapat pada perlakuan B.thuringiensis 75gr/1l air,
M. anisopliae 75gr/1l, B. bassiana 75gr/1l sebesar 100%, disusul perlakuan,
B. thuringiensis 50gr/1l, B. bassiana 50gr/1l, M. anisopliae 50gr/1l,
B. thuringiensis 25gr/1l, M. anisopliae 25gr/1l sedangkan B. bassiana 25gr/1l air
kurang efektif, dan perilaku kematian larva O. rhinoceros yang terinfeksi
entomopatogen di tandai dengan larva menjadi lambat, nafsu makan berkurang
dan memiliki warna yang berbeda.

ABTRACT

Larva Oryctes rhinoceros L. (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) in the Laboratory".

The objective of this Research was to evaluate the effectifity of
entomophatogen (Bacillus thuringiensis, Beauveria bassiana, and Metarhizium
anisopliae) with different concentration level. The experiment was conducted at

the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatera Utara,
Medan. From July to August 2013, using a completely randomized design (RAL)
non factorial consist of 10 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments consist:
L0 (Control), L1 (B. thuringiensis 25gr/1l), L2 (B. thuringiensis 50gr/1l),
L3(B. thuringiensis 75gr/1l), L4 (B. bassiana 25gr/1l), L5 (B. bassiana 50gr/1l),
L6 (B. bassiana 75gr/1l), L7 (M. anisopliae 25gr/1l), L8 (M. anisopliae 50gr/1l)
and L9 (M. anisopliae 75gr/1l). Parameters measured were percentage mortality
larva, the percentage of infected larvae and behavior larva death O. rhinoceros
entomopathogenic infected.
The results showed that treatment of B. thuringiensis 75gr/1l is effective
against mortality imago C. cramerella at 100%, followed by treatment
M. anisopliae 75gr/1l, B. bassiana 75gr/1l, B. thuringiensis 50gr/1l,
M. anisopliae 50gr/1l, B. bassiana 50gr/1l, M. anisopliae 25gr/l, B. thuringiensis
25gr/1l, and B. bassiana 25gr/1l, the hight number of larvae of O. rhinoceros
found in the entomopatogen infected treatment B.thuringiensis 75gr/1l,
M. anisopliae 75gr/1l, B. bassiana 75gr/1l by 100%, followed by treatment of
B. thuringiensis 50gr/1l, B. bassiana 50gr/1l, M. anisopliae 50gr/1l, B.
thuringiensis 25gr/1l, M. anisopliae 25gr/1l while B. bassiana 25gr/1l is less
effective, and the behavior of death larvae O. rhinoceros infected
entomopathogenic in mark with the larvae become slow, reduced appetite have

different colors.
