Tinggal dengan Orang Tua Tunggal Beserta Faktor-faktor yang
Memengaruhinya (Studi Kasus terhadap Peserta Didik MAN 1 Bandung
Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015)
Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran umum
penerimaan diri pada remaja yang tinggal dengan orang tua tunggal beserta faktorfaktor yang memengaruhinya terhadap dua subyek yaitu peserta didik di MAN 1
Bandung. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah studi kasus. Profil penerimaan
diri pada remaja yang tinggal dengan orang tua tunggal beserta faktor-faktor yang
memengaruhinya dianalisis melalui hasil dari observasi, wawancara terhadap
kedua subyek dan guru BK, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan
bahwa penerimaan diri remaja dengan orang tua tunggal pada kedua subjek
menggambarkan sesuai dengan aspek penerimaan diri yang di eksplorasi yaitu
mengenai aspek fisik, aspek psikis, aspek sosial, dan aspek moral yang telah di
eksplor dalam penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dan dengan ciri-ciri
penerimaan diri yang diungkap pada kedua subyek. Serta faktor-faktor yang
memengaruhi penerimaan diri remaja dengan orang tua tunggal ini sangat
beragam, salah satunya adanya pemahaman tentang diri dan lingkungan, dalam
hal ini perlunya dukungan dari lingkungan positif terutama di keluarga dan pihak
sekolah atau guru BK dalam memberikan kebutuhan yang sesuai pada remaja

mengenai penerimaan dirinya untuk dapat memahami kondisi di lapangan tehadap
kebutuhan anak dalam penerimaan diri remaja dengan orang tua tunggal agar
perkembangan yang dicapai optimal.
Kata kunci : Penerimaan diri, remaja yang tinggal dengan orang tua tunggal,
faktor yang memengaruhi penerimaan diri.

with Single Parents and Their Factors that affect it (Case Study on Students
MAN 1 Bandung year 2014/2015)
The background of this research was to determine the general picture of
self-acceptance in adolescents living with single parents as well as the factors that
affect it to the two subjects that students at MAN 1 Bandung. The research method

is a case study. Profile of self-acceptance in adolescents living with single parents
and their influencing factors are a nalyzed through the results of observation,
interviews with both the subject and the teacher BK, as well as documentation.
The results showed that self-acceptance adolescents with single parents on both
subjects describe accordance with aspects of self-acceptance in exploration is the
physical aspect, the aspect of psychological, social, and moral aspects that have
been in eksplor in a study conducted by researchers and characterized -ciri
acceptance revealed in both subjects. And the factors that influence selfacceptance adolescents with a single parent is very diverse, one of them an
understanding of the self and the environment, in this case the need for the
support of a positive environment, especially in the family and the school or
teacher BK in providing appropriate needs in adolescents the acceptance of
himself to be able to understand the conditions in the field tehadap needs of
children in self-acceptance adolescents with single parents in order to achieve
optimal development.
