ofauto-suggestionborethebestresultIcould
havedreamedof.WhenIaskedthecommunityleaderintheveryfirsthamletBunga,how
theirkidscouldsitonasandy,coldfloorin
theircommunitycentreforstartingschool,he
replied:“Ifyougiveusfivesacksofcement,
wewillconcretethefloor”followedby“ifyou
giveussomenails,wewillmakethechildren’s
schoolfurniturefromourowntrees.”Inever
hadtoaskthecommunitytocontribute–they
believedsomuchingettingtheirkids,thefirst
generationinhistory,educated.”
