Penggunaan Metode Fuzzy Mamdani Untuk Mengukur Kecerdasan Emosi Anak Usia Dini

ABSTRAK
Sejak kecerdasan emosi mulai dipopulerkan oleh Daniel Goleman di tahun 1995, para
orang tua semakin sadar dan yakin bahwa keberhasilan anak tidak hanya cukup
dengan keterampilan teknis dan pengetahuan ilmiah, namun juga dipengaruhi oleh
kemampuan anak dalam mengendalikan emosi mereka. Semakin tinggi kesadaran
orang tua untuk mengetahui kemampuan anak mereka dalam mengendalikan emosi
menjadi alasan untuk membuat sistem yang mampu menganalisis karakteristik dari
kecerdasan emosi anak usia dini. Karakteristik yang terdapat pada anak usia dini
dijadikan sebagai variabel masukan pada penelitian. Skala likert akan digunakan
untuk menganalisis karakteristik anak, dan nilai setiap variabel ditentukan dengan
representasi kurva segitiga. Variabel masukan pada sistem terdiri dari 5 variabel, yaitu
kesadaran diri, mengelola emosi, memanfaatkan emosi secara produktif, empati dan
membina hubungan. Nilai dari kelima variabel akan dihitung dengan menggunakan
metode fuzzy. Metode ini cukup efisien digunakan untuk menentukan nilai dari
kecerdasan emosi tersebut. Sistem ini akan menghitung nilai kecerdasan emosi
berdasarkan karakteristik yang ada pada anak usia dini. Para orang tua hanya perlu
menggunakan sistem untuk mengetahui secara dini perkembangan kecerdasan emosi
tanpa harus bertanya langsung ke pakarnya. Keluaran yang dihasilkan oleh sistem
berupa nilai dari kecerdasan emosi anak dan informasi dari kategori nilai yang
diperoleh.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD
ABSTRACT
Since emotional intelligence popularized by Daniel Goleman in 1995, parents
are increasingly aware and convinced that the success of a child is not just
enough with the technical skills and scientific knowledge, but also influenced
by the child's ability to control their emotions. The higher the awareness of
parents to know their child's ability to control emotions is the reason to create
a system capable of analyzing the characteristics of earl y childhood emotional
intelligence. Characteristics found in early childhood used as input variables
in the study. Likert scale will be used to analyze the characteristics of the
child, and the value of each variable is determined by the triangular
representation of the curve. Variable input to the system consists of 5
variables, namely self-awareness, managing emotions, emotions productively
utilize, empathy and build relationships. Values of the five variables will be
calculated by using the method of fuzzy. This method is efficient enough to
use to determine the value of emotional intelligence. This system will
calculate the value of emotional intelligence based on characteristics present
in early childhood. Parents just need to use the system to determine early
development of emotional intelligence without having to ask directly to the
experts. Output generated by the system in the form of the value of the child's
emotional intelligence and information obtained from the value category.
