Analisis Penulisan Abstrak Tesis Mahasiswa Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komunikasi Konsentrasi Ilmu Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Komunikas.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui isi, penulisan atau pengetikan dan
susunan kalimat dari abstrak tesis mahasiswa Program Studi Magister Ilmu
Komunikasi Konsentrasi Ilmu Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas
Padjadjaran tahun 2010-2012. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif
pendekatan analisis dokumen. Data diperoleh melalui teknik dokumentasi, kajian
pustaka serta observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isi abstrak sebagian
besar telah mengikuti pedoman penulisan abstrak menurut Lancaster,
penulisan/pengetikan abstrak telah mengikuti pedoman penulisan abstrak menurut
Lancaster serta masih banyak terdapat kesalahan terutama pada penulisan paragraf
yang melebihi 1 paragraf, susunan kalimat pada abstrak pada umumnya telah
mengikuti pedoman penulisan abstrak menurut Lancaster serta masih banyak
kesalahan dalam penggunaan singkatan kata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat
disimpulkan bahwa sudah abstrak tesis Konsentrasi Ilmu Komunikasi tahun 20102012 belum mengikuti aturan penulisan abstrak menurut Lancaster.

ABSTRACT
The purposes of this research is to identify content, writing or typing and sentence
structure of thesis abstract belongs to Master Students of Science Communication,
Faculty of Science Communication, Padjadjaran University period 2010-2012.
This research uses descriptive and document analysis approach. The techniques
used to collect the data are documentation, literature research and observation.
The result shows most of the sentence structure of thesis abstract is following the
rules of abstract writing according to Lancaster, writing or typing of abstract is
following of abstract writing according to Lancaster, paragraph writing error,
and abbreviations are inappropriate to the Lancaster theory. The conclusion of
the research is the thesis abstract of master student of science communication
period 2010-2012 mostly not following the abstract writing rules by Lancaster
theory.
