Hubungan Pengetahuan dengan Sikap Pekerja Terhadap Penerapan Program K3 di PT. Telkom Indonesia Pekanbaru Tahun 2016
ABSTRAK
Program K3 merupakan suatu rencana kerja yang bertujuan untuk
memfasilitasi pelaksanaan keselamatan kerja, proses pengendalian resiko dan
paparan bahaya termasuk kesalahan manusia dalam tindakan tidak aman. Setiap
karyawan diperusahaan pasti mempunyai resiko untuk terjadinya kecelakaan kerja
ataupun penyakit akibat kerja jika mereka tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap
yang baik tentang penerapan K3 yang tepat. Kurangnya pengetahuan seseorang
akan berdampak kepada sikap pekerja ketika melakukan pekerjaannya.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei analitik dengan pendekatan
cross sectional dengan uji chi-square, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui
pengetahuan dan sikap pekerja terhadap penerapan program K3 di PT. Telkom
Indonesia Pekanbaru. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pekerja di PT. Telkom
Indonesia Pekanbaru. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik stratified
random sampling sehingga hanya 58 pekerja yang diteliti.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan karyawan terhadap
penerapan program K3 di PT. Telkom Indonesia Pekanbaru termasuk dalam
kategori baik (51,7%) untuk sikap termasuk dalam kategori positif (63,8%).
Sehingga menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan
dengan sikap pekerja terhadap penerapan program K3 di perusahaan dengan
menggunakan uji secara statistik, probabilitas (p) = 0,01 < 0,05 (Ho ditolak).
Artinya ada hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan dengan sikap pekerja
terhadap penerapan program K3, hasil ini menunjukkan semakin besar
pengetahuan terhadap K3 maka akan sangat mempengaruhi sikap seseorang dalam
bekerja.
Pengetahuan dan sikap karyawan terhadap penerapan program K3 sudah
baik, sehingga diharapkan agar karyawan tetap mempertahankan dan
meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikapnya yang baik terhadap penerapan program
K3 dengan diberikannya sosialisasi, pelatihan, serta training K3 setiap jadwal
yang telah ditetapkan oleh pihak perusahaan. Sehingga terciptanya lingkungan
kerja yang aman, nyaman, dan produktivitas.

ABSTARCT
Occupational health and safety program is an action plan that aims to
facilitate the implementation of workplace safety, process control and exposure to
hazards, including the risk of human error in unsafe acts. Every employee in the
company certainly has the risk of accidents or occupational diseases if they do not
have a good knowledge and attitudes about the proper implementation of
occupational health and safety. Lack of knowledge someone will have an impact
on the attitude of the workers when doing his job.
This research is analytic survey with cross sectional approach with chisquare test, which aims to determine the knowledge and attitudes of workers
towards the implementation of occupational health and safety program at PT.
Telkom Indonesia Pekanbaru. The study population were all workers at the PT.
Telkom Indonesia Pekanbaru. Sampling was done by stratified random sampling
technique that only 58 workers were examined.
The results of this study show that the knowledge of the employees towards
the implementation of occupational health and safety program at PT. Telkom
Indonesia Pekanbaru included in either category (51.7%) for attitude categorized
as positive (63.8%). Thereby indicating a significant relationship between
knowledge and attitudes of workers towards the implementation of K3 program in
an enterprise by using statistical test, the probability (p) = 0.01 < 0.05 (Ho
rejected). This means that there is a significant relationship between knowledge
and attitudes of workers towards the implementation of occupational health and
safety program, these results indicate a greater knowledge of the occupational
health and safety will greatly affect one's attitude in work.
