ABSTRACT
One of the challenges aced by Indonesian govenment in the future is to create human esoure
that has capability and competitiveness. This study is ud on tudying the ompeteny of ollege
graduates that gather many atenions in the ase of link and match oncept with business world.This
witing is aimed to discuss the uses' hopes and judgement on hard skill and sot skill competeny from

economic degree who works at their companies. The study Was onduted on various ompanies in Central
Java that employ economic degree's graduaes. he result shws that there is a gap between the user's
hoes and atual competeny on the ield. he gap is found mainly in the sot sill and had skill
competeny.In overcoming the gap in e future, one of he altenative solutions is the need of continuous

cnmunication, coperation and oordinaion between university and users from the business world.
Those will result in curriculum and teaching-learning press o that the university will create the graduate
that will match the needs of business world.
