A Few Beers By Fred T I had to reread it as soon as I finished because I saw so much of myself in it as an alcoholic and a Christian.From the idea that I thought that I could pray away my Need for drink, to when I realized He had already given me His directions to the rooms of AA.Being lost for 35 yrs,when I stopped playing God I was finally able to follow His directions.This book is an Honest appraisal of the conflict of Church/AA/Self-Will and His Will for each of us. It was so well written, so interesting, and not being an alcoholic, it really gave me an entirely new prospective on what people with this disease go through, how they suffer, and how difficult their road is. For someone who overcame his disease, I think both drinkers and non drinkers can benefit from his experience, his story,his wisdom and encouragement. Great book, highly recommended!
