ABSTRAK
Sani Saksono, 210103080048, penulis melakukan Praktek Kerja Lapangan di Lembaga
Penyiaran Publik Radio Republik Indonesia (LPP RRI), Bandung, sebagai reporter. Laporan
Tugas Akhir ini berjudul “ PERAN REPORTER DALAM PROSES PELIPUTAN BERITA
DALAM PROGRAM KABAR JABAR DI RADIO REPUBLIK INDONESIA (RRI)
BANDUNG“, dibawah bimbingan Drs. Duddy Zein, M.Si. Program Pendidikan ahli Komunikasi
Terapan Program Studi Penyiaran Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran.
Tujuan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran reporter dalam
proses peliputan berita, dan mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi reporter dalam proses peliputan
berita dalam program Kabar Jabar di RRI Bandung.
Metode yang digunakan dalam Penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah metode deskriptif
dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan.
Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilakukan, seorang reporter dalam mencari sebuah
berita harus mempersiapkan semua kebutuhan yang akan dilakukan pada saat meliput berita di
lapangan. Pada saat terjun ke lapangan, seorang reporter mempunyai tanggung jawab penuh
terhadap proses peliputan berita berlangsung.
Setelah observasi ini berjalan, dapat disimpulkan reporter pada program Kabar Jabar
mempunyai tanggung jawab yang besar dalam proses peliputan berita yang nantinya berita itu
siap untuk disiarkan.

Radio RepublicIndonesia (RRI LPP), Bandung as a reporter. This final report entitled “REPORTER
ROLE IN THE PROCESS OF THE PROGRAM NEWS COVERAGE JABAR NEWS RADIO IN THE
REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA (RRI) BANDUNG”, under the guidance of Drs. Duddy Zein, M.Si.

Padjadjaran University.
Final purpose of this paper is to determine the role of the reporter in the news coverage,
and know the constraints faced by reporters in the news coverage of the news program on RRI
Bandung.
The method used in this Final Writing is descriptive method of data collection techniques
such as observation, interviews, and literature study.
Based on the observations that have been made, a reporter in search of a story must
prepare all needs to be done at the time of reporting in the field. At the time gone to the field, a
reporter has overall responsibility for the ongoing news coverage.
Following this observation goes, it can be concluded the program news Jabar News has
a big responsibility in the process of news coverage that will be ready for broadcast news.

terhadap proses peliputan berita berlangsung.
Setelah observasi ini berjalan, dapat disimpulkan reporter pada program Kabar Jabar
mempunyai tanggung jawab yang besar dalam proses peliputan berita yang nantinya berita itu
siap untuk disiarkan.
