ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study to investigate the effect of ownership structure on financial
performance in the corporate manufacturing sector. Independent variable used in this
study consist of foreign ownership, government ownership, managerial ownership,
institusional ownership, family ownership. Then financial performance measures with
ROA (Return On Assets). In this study has a control variable used firm size and leverage.
In this study used 224 sample manufacturing company listed in (BEI) Indonesian Stock
Exchange period 2010-2011. For testing hypothesis used spss 16. The results showed that
foreign ownership and leverage have a positif significant effect to manufacturing
performance. While, family ownership have a negative significant effect to manufacturing
performance. For government ownership, managerial ownership, institusional ownership
and firm size have no influence to manufacturing company performance.
