Rikkyo University has introduced “Rikkyo Global 24”
globalization strategy as a medium-and-long-term plan as a
milestone for the university’s 150th anniversary in 2024.
Rikkyo Global 24 will be the core of the plan. Within the
strategy, one of the specific goals for globalization promotion
is to expand acceptance of international students. Welcome

are two countries that have shown stronger relationship for
decadees. These relations generate more collaboration
academically. I believe Universitas Padjadjaran and Rikkyo
University could perform and deliver mutual program in
enchancing the collaboration. Additionaly, the company visit
to Ricoh Company would enhance the understanding about
Japan amongst Indonesia students.

ABSTRACT

Purpose
The purpose of this study is to discuss the study about how the influence of
the application of talent management and work life balance on
organizational performance at PT. Telkom in indonesia on his final get the
nickname as the corporate scandals in Asia. It is with regard to the talent
availability and the company's ability to manage his best people (talent
retention).

Design/methodology/approach
The research method is a descriptive. The aim of descriptive verification
method are to describe, explain, and validate findings. Description emerges
following creative exploration, and serves to organize the findings in order
to fit them with explanations, and then test or validate those explanations
(Krathwohl, 1993). Population of this study is employees of PT. Telkom are
top and middle management in PT. Telkom Bandung especially PT. Telkom
Japati Bandung.

Expected findings
Hypotesis was developed in this study is the perception that if the
companies do talent management related there is the availability of talents
and companies can do talent retention. so that the expected results from
this study is that the perception that talent management and work lofe
balance can affect the performance of an organization.

Partical implication
The results of the study will have the effect that the managerial
implications for the management of PT. Telkom especially in managing the
availability of talents existing within the company in order to contribute

more to the company's performance. Companies can do some dimensions
in talent management such as providing training, job experience and
career management apart from that company is expected to keep the best
people in the company or do retention.

Originality/value
This paper is the only study conducted at PT. Telkom located in Bandung,
Indonesia which measures how talent management company can affect
the performance of the organization.

ABSTRACT

Purpose
The purpose of this research is examined what gender and locus of control
have an impact on employee performance. This study is important To
identify the factors that build comfort work environment So as to increase
of employee performance.

Design/methodology/approach
The method of this analysis that used to analyse the influence of gender
and the locus control on employee performance is the “Sem” method
(Structural Equation Modeling) with SmartPls software.

Expected Finding
2 (two) independent variable be tasted to 1 (one) dependent variable with
18 (eighteen) subvariable and the expected result in this research is shows
if gender and locus of control have an impact on employee performance in
Kampoeng Gombong Resto.

Managerial/Pratical implication
The result of this research to show what gender and locus of control
become determiner of employee performance. In addition, the expected
this research will provide implication practical to analyze gender and locus
of control on employee performance.

Abstract

Purpose:
As a true national heritage for a country, craft industry encompasses goods
that are handmade by artisans, craftsmen or those skilled in a particular
trade. This article is aimed to present and promote the creativity and
innovation of the craft industry of “Antemoro paper” in Ambalavao
Madagascar. The cultural heritage is one of the richest and the most
important resources, with the capacity to generate import economic and
social resource favor the nation.

Design / methodology / approach:
This study will apply quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches
within the data and archival research from a wide range of literature
regarding the issues to be discussed on reviews of the books, textbooks,
newspapers, and internet both theoretically and empirically relevant to the
problems being faced or related to the object of research that is being
conducted.

Expected findings:
The findings that we expect from this research is to get information on
specific handicraft of “Antemoro paper” in order to promote it
internationally. Craft can be significant contributor to a country’s economy,
so the craftsmen should improve their creativity while maintaining their
traditional techniques in order to preserve this cultural heritage.

Practical implications:
This study can be used to know and understand the relationship between
craft industry, creativity, innovation especially about the “Antemoro
paper” in Ambalavao Madagascar. But also to describe the consideration of
this craft industry being one of the national heritage which is rarely found

in world of craft and its enormous potential can be operated through
vertical integration and clustering of small business.

Originality / value:
Research on craft in Madagascar is very extensive due to the diversity of
craft sector in the country. This is a huge potential to exploit. The
originality of this study may shed new insight to promote this specific craft
industry.

ABSTRACT

Purpose
To create an android applications to facilitate the community detecting
their disease earlier through the experienced symptoms they got before
coming to health facilities such as health centers, medical clinics and
hospitals.

Design/Methodology/Approach
This research methodology is using concept, design, design application,
material collecting, and assembly. Design of the application will be using
flow chart system for mapping some contents of an application correctly.

Expected Findings
Develop an android applications through electronic health information
technology (e-hits) as a public facilities to get a simple and easy access
about health information related to the common diseases that usually
suffered by the most Indonesian people.

Practical Implication
People will know their health problems of common diseases, determine
the main cause of the symptoms experienced, to know the first action that
should be done for the initial treatment, knowing the type of over the
counter drugs (OTC) to consume the first time with the symptoms
experienced and the last one, communities are able to implement the
suggestions contained in the application so that can be decrease the risk.

Abstract

Purpose
The aim of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of sustainable business
in cosmetics industry through the consumer perspective. We also compare
in depth about the features, marketing strategies, and values of two wellknown beauty companies, The Bodyshop and Lush Cosmetics. After
compare all sustainable aspect from both companies, we can finally find
out which company running better sustainable business practice.

Design / methodology / approach
This study applies qualitative comparative methods. We compare two
multinational companies, The Body Shop and Lush Cosmetics to find out
which company running better sustainable business practices in cosmetic
industry. Both secondary and primary data will be collected and analyzed
from qualitative point of view. Interview and questionnaire are conduct in
this research as a primary data. Extensive search of article, reports and
infomation obtained from company website will be analyzed as a
secondary data.

Expected Findings
The findings of the research will show how consumer see the sustainable
business practice in cosmetic indutries from their perspective and
specifically explain how the case company’s sustainable strategies applies
in bringing sustainable products to customer and finally find which
company is running better sustainable business practices in cosmetic
industry

Managerial / Practical Implication
This paper would be useful for business practitioners, especially to those
who involve in cosmetic industry, as an information and examples of how
successful cosmetic companies running a sustainable business. This study
could also encourage and raise more awareness of readers or customers to
choose sustainable product,which not only give positive impact for ourself
but also for our society.

Originality / Value
The research on the value and sustainable business in cosmetic industry is
limited. The originality of this research is reached by provide new insight
from new perspective of cosmetic in consumer society.

ABSTRACT

Purpose:
We live in the era of information technology and the development of
Internet has made running of business very easy. Technology and the
Internet are parts of our lives and modern business is growing through Ecommerce and social media. The purpose of this paper is to define a
significance part of Internet as the social media platform in tourism
marketing in Ukraine with the example of TripAdvisor website. This
research seeks to describe how the information on social media can affect
the consumer behavior in choosing a tourist destination in Ukraine.

Design/methodology/approach:
In this study paper, the author uses qualitatively descriptive analysis. The
data were collected and analyzed in May 2017 from the social media
platform such as TripAdvisor.com, probably the largest travel site online.
Review of related literature gives the author an important theory and
examples of analyzing and interpreting collected data taken from social
media based on feedbacks and reviews generated by users/visitors of this
site.

Expected findings:
This research is expected to be useful for the tourism industry in Ukraine to
gain a better understanding of the way how tourist’s choices for different
famous destination depend on the information represented on the site.

Managerial/Practical implication:
This study will analyze given information about tourism destinations from
the TripAdvisor website as an avenue for travelers to gain qualitative
knowledge about the tourism destinations in Ukraine. Then it can be
considered as a suggestion from the author on how to improve some key
design elements for effective website work.

This paper is the only study that is done in Ukraine that analyses the usage
of TripAdvisor in tourism marketing in Ukraine. The author hopes this
paper will show the importance of social media for business and will

Abstract

Purpose
The purpose of this study is to measure the impact of service quality and
brand image to customer loyalty of the logistic service company PT. Pos
Indonesia locates in Bandung

Design/methodology/approach
In this study use explanatory survey method that explains a relationship
between the variables of the research. Beside that, the method which is
used in this research is a descriptive method, which aims to determine the
fact and interpretation. To obtain the data, in this study using questioner,
with online business community as the respondent.

Expected Finding
The expected result in this research, there is influence between service
quality and brand image to customer loyalty. So, in the creation of
customer loyalty conducted by PT. Pos Indonesia, the variable that is used
in this research can be considered.

Managerial/Practical implication
The results of this research related to service quality, brand image, and
customer loyalty, it is expected to give benefits for some related parties,
especially for the PT Pos Indonesia. For the company, the results of this
study are expected to provide additional information as a consideration or
material evaluation in various aspects, either In planning or for strategic
decision making related to brand image, service quality, and customer
loyalty. So that, this research can give a contribution to PT Pos Indonesia
company in the form of contribution of thoughts, and ideas, so that in the
future PT Pos Indonesia can focus on improving the quality of service to
customers, to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty. Thenfor the
authors, this research as the application between science and theory,

information, and it associated with real cases that occur in the real life
related to service products. And for academics, this research is expected to
be used as information, and it also can be used as a reference materials

This research is conducted at PT Pos Indonesia. Data and information
produced in one branch of PT Pos Indonesia located at Jl. Banda 30,
Citarum, Bandung. This research is conducted to know the level of
customer loyalty by measuring service quality and brand image at PT Pos

Abstract

Objectives
Diffusion and innovation in Augmented Reality (AR) are innovations in 3D
(three dimension) technology in order to increase the selling value of
advertising by combining the real and virtual worlds, so that the product
appearance offered to the society will be more appealing. The augmented
reality diffusion is communicated through some courses of specified period
of time in to the social and business systems. In other words, Diffusion
Innovation is a brand new thing either it is a product or opinion, which is
spread in society on an understandable pace and it is analyzed using
communication pattern in a certain social system. The research tool used
to analyze this particular innovation is path analysis. This particular analysis
will see the process in which the augmented reality innovation focuses on
the distribution of the entrepreneurs in advertisement delivery to the
targeted customers. The finding expected in this research is that it can
explain how important the impact of augmented reality innovation on not
only the customers’ interest against the given advertisement but also on
the advertising entrepreneurs in Indonesia.

Design / methodology / approach
The data used in this research were obtained from interview and
questionnaire to the advertising entrepreneurs and customers consist of
12 questions. Those particular data are distributed among the total of 100
respondents enrolled in chamber of commerce, Indonesian Advertising
Entrepreneurs Association (Asosiasi Periklanan Pengusaha Indonesia or
(PPPI KADIN)) in Indonesia. The analysis tool used is path analysis. The
finding on descriptive hypothesis test shows the interest level of the
entrepreneurs to adopt the augmented reality innovation and the interest
level of the customers in receiving the augmented reality technology
innovation in a broadcasted advertisement.

The Expected Findings
From this particular research, the researcher expects to find out the impact
and benefit of the entry of augmented reality technology in Indonesia for
the entrepreneurs and their customers. The researcher also expects that it
is possible to determine some business moves that will be taken related to
this particular augmented reality innovation.

Managerial / practical implication
From this research, it is expected that the company managers can draw a
conclusion related to the particular Augmented Reality innovation by
making a decision to use augmented reality innovation on their advertising
product. The researcher also expects that by using this particular path
analysis method, it can increase the diffusion on selling and product quality
innovations of the advertising company by applying augmented reality
technology in the marketing of advertising product. Hence, it can
determine a business decision related to a more modern advertising
innovation.

Originality / value
This particular research will provide information regarding the impact of
augmented reality technology, either in local or national level, especially in
advertising industry.
