ABSTRAK

Telah dilakukan analisa kadar COD dan Amoniak dari beberapa limbah cair pabrik
kering sehingga dapat diketahui nilai Amoniak dan COD apakah telah memenuhi
standart baku mutu limbah cair yang ditetapkan.didalam analisa ini metode yang
digunakan metode Spektrofotometer dan titrasi. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan
diperoleh kadar Amoniak pada contoh 1 = 43,45 contoh 2 = 0,365 contoh 3 = 50,65
contoh 4 =13,27 contoh 5 = 44,65 contoh 6 = 4,47 contoh 7 = 74,625 contoh 8 =
40,887. Kadar COD pada contoh 1 = 403,26 contoh 2 = 60,8 contoh 3 = 481,844
contoh 4 = 113,74 contoh 5 = 332,948 contoh 6 = 105,468 contoh 7 = 904,772 contoh
8 =55,852.Dari bebeapa hasil analisa ada sebagian contoh yang memenuhi standart
baku mutu dan ada sampel yang tidak memenuhi standart baku mutu yang
ditetapkan oleh Menteri Lingkungan Hidup, maka air limbah tersebut tidak dapat
dibuang ke badan air.
