RINGKASAN
Efrida Jubis, Pengaruh 5istem Tanam dan Urnur Bibit Terhadap
Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Beberapa Varietas Padi Sawah (Oryza sativa L.).
Dibimbing oleh Sengli J Damanik sebagai ketua kornisi, J.A. Napitupulu dan
Dartius sebagai anggota.
Bertujuan utuk mengetahui pengaruh dan taraf optimal dari
perlakuan 5istem Tanam (5), Varietas (V), Umur Bibit (U) dan Interaksinya
terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi padi sawah,
Dilaksanakan di Kebun Pereobaan Instansi Penelitian dan Pengkajian
Teknologi Pertanian (Ins, P2TP) di Pasar Miring, Ialan Raya Galang Km 8,2
Kecamatan Merbabu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Propinsi Sumatera Utara,
pada bulan Mei s/ d Agustus 2003.
Menggunakan Raneangan Petak Terpisah-pisah dirnana 5istem Tanam
(5) sebagai Petak Utama (PU) terdiri dari 2 [enis yaitu 5istem Tanam Legowo
(51) dan 5istem Tegal (52). Sebagai Anak Petak (AP) adalah Varietas terdiri 4
jenis yaitu IR-64 (VI), Ciherang (V2), 5ingkil (V3) dan 5unggal (V4). Sebagai
Anak-Anak Petak adalah Umur Bibit terdiri 4 taraf yartu Umur 12 hari (U1),
Umur 15 hari (U2), Umur 18 hari (U3) dan Umur 21 hari (U4).
Peubah yang diamati adalah Tinggi Tanaman, [umlah Anakan per
Rumpun, Luas Helai Daun, Indek Luas Daun, Iumlah Butir per Rumpun,
[umlah Gabah berisi per Malai, Persentase Gabah Hampa per Malai, Bobot
Total Gabah Kering Panen, Bobot 1000 butir Gabah Kering dan Bobot Bio
Massa [erarni.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan tertinggi tinggi tanaman
diperoleh pada kombinasi 52U2 (97,63 em), [umlah anakan per rumpun
terbanyak pada S2U2 (23,13 batang) dan V3U3 (23,20 batang), jumlah malai per
rumpun terbanyak pada SlU3 (14,48 tangkai) dan V3U3 (19,00 tangkai),
sedangkan pada parameter luas helaian daun per rumpun dan indeks luas
daun untuk seluruh perlakuan memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata. [umlah
gabah berisi per malai terbanyak diperoleh pada 51U3 (88,15 butir),
persentase gabah hampa paling sedikit pada 5:tVIU3 (9,07 %), bobot total
gabah kering panen per petak terbesar pada SlV4U3 (21,93 kg), bobot 1000
butir gabah kering pada 5N2Ul (30,17 kg) dan bobot biomassa jerami
diperoleh pada V3U4 (1,10 ton).

SUMMARY
Efrida Lubis, The Influence of Planting System and Seed Age on the grawth
and Peoduction of some wet field rice varieties (Oryza Sativa L.) supervised
by Sengli J. Damanik as the chief of commission, J.A Napitupulu and Dartius
as the member's.
This study at examining the influence and the optimal stage of
planting system treatment (S), variety (V), Seed age (U) and its interaction on
the wet field rice growth and production.
Implemented in the centre for Research and Experiment Installation
and Agriculture Technology Study (Ins. P2TP) on Pasar Miring, [alan Raya
Galang Km, 8,2 Merbau Subdistrict, Dell Serdang District, North Sumatera
Province from May to August.
Using separate split design, planting system as the main split (PU)
consists of 2 systems: Legowo planting system and Tegel system (52). For
split-split (AP) is a variety that consists of 4 kinds of varieties. They are 1R64
(VI), Ciherang (V2) Singkil (V3) and Sunggal (V4). The seed age for split-split
split consists of four levels (Stages: 12 days (VI), 15 days (V2) 18 days (V3) and
21 days V4).
The factors of change observed are the height of plants, the number of
shoots pen cluster, the area of leaf, the index of leaf area, the number grains
per cluster, the number of grained husk, the percentage of empty husk per
grain, the total weight of dry husk, the weight of 1000 grains of dry husk and
the weight of straw biomass.
The result of research reveals that the highest average of the plant
height is in the combination SN2 (97. 63 em), the highest number of shoots
per cluster is in 52 V2 (23, 13 stalks) and V3 U3 23, 20 stalks), the highest
number of grains is in St U3 (18, 48 stalks) and V3 U3 (19,00 stalks) while in
the parameter of leaf area per cluster and the index of leaf area per cluster
and the index of grains is in St V3 (18, 48 stalks) and V3 U3 (19,00 stalks) while
in the parameter of leaf area per cluster and the index of leaf area for all
treatments show the unsignificant influence. The highest number of husk
that contains the most grains is found in St U3 (88,15 %), the least percentage
of harvested dry husk per split is found in SI VI U3 (9,07 %), the highest total
weight of harvested dry husk per split is found in 51 VI 3(9,07 %), the highest
total weight of harvested dry husk per split is found in 51 V4 U3 (21, 93 kg).
The weight of 1000 grains of dry husk found in SN2 Ui is 30,17 kg and the
weight of straw biomass found in V3 U4 is 1,10 tons.

RINGKASAN
Efrida Jubis, Pengaruh 5istem Tanam dan Urnur Bibit Terhadap
Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Beberapa Varietas Padi Sawah (Oryza sativa L.).
Dibimbing oleh Sengli J Damanik sebagai ketua kornisi, J.A. Napitupulu dan
Dartius sebagai anggota.
Bertujuan utuk mengetahui pengaruh dan taraf optimal dari
perlakuan 5istem Tanam (5), Varietas (V), Umur Bibit (U) dan Interaksinya
terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi padi sawah,
Dilaksanakan di Kebun Pereobaan Instansi Penelitian dan Pengkajian
Teknologi Pertanian (Ins, P2TP) di Pasar Miring, Ialan Raya Galang Km 8,2
Kecamatan Merbabu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Propinsi Sumatera Utara,
pada bulan Mei s/ d Agustus 2003.
Menggunakan Raneangan Petak Terpisah-pisah dirnana 5istem Tanam
(5) sebagai Petak Utama (PU) terdiri dari 2 [enis yaitu 5istem Tanam Legowo
(51) dan 5istem Tegal (52). Sebagai Anak Petak (AP) adalah Varietas terdiri 4
jenis yaitu IR-64 (VI), Ciherang (V2), 5ingkil (V3) dan 5unggal (V4). Sebagai
Anak-Anak Petak adalah Umur Bibit terdiri 4 taraf yartu Umur 12 hari (U1),
Umur 15 hari (U2), Umur 18 hari (U3) dan Umur 21 hari (U4).
Peubah yang diamati adalah Tinggi Tanaman, [umlah Anakan per
Rumpun, Luas Helai Daun, Indek Luas Daun, Iumlah Butir per Rumpun,
[umlah Gabah berisi per Malai, Persentase Gabah Hampa per Malai, Bobot
Total Gabah Kering Panen, Bobot 1000 butir Gabah Kering dan Bobot Bio
Massa [erarni.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan tertinggi tinggi tanaman
diperoleh pada kombinasi 52U2 (97,63 em), [umlah anakan per rumpun
terbanyak pada S2U2 (23,13 batang) dan V3U3 (23,20 batang), jumlah malai per
rumpun terbanyak pada SlU3 (14,48 tangkai) dan V3U3 (19,00 tangkai),
sedangkan pada parameter luas helaian daun per rumpun dan indeks luas
daun untuk seluruh perlakuan memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata. [umlah
gabah berisi per malai terbanyak diperoleh pada 51U3 (88,15 butir),
persentase gabah hampa paling sedikit pada 5:tVIU3 (9,07 %), bobot total
gabah kering panen per petak terbesar pada SlV4U3 (21,93 kg), bobot 1000
butir gabah kering pada 5N2Ul (30,17 kg) dan bobot biomassa jerami
diperoleh pada V3U4 (1,10 ton).

SUMMARY
Efrida Lubis, The Influence of Planting System and Seed Age on the grawth
and Peoduction of some wet field rice varieties (Oryza Sativa L.) supervised
by Sengli J. Damanik as the chief of commission, J.A Napitupulu and Dartius
as the member's.
This study at examining the influence and the optimal stage of
planting system treatment (S), variety (V), Seed age (U) and its interaction on
the wet field rice growth and production.
Implemented in the centre for Research and Experiment Installation
and Agriculture Technology Study (Ins. P2TP) on Pasar Miring, [alan Raya
Galang Km, 8,2 Merbau Subdistrict, Dell Serdang District, North Sumatera
Province from May to August.
Using separate split design, planting system as the main split (PU)
consists of 2 systems: Legowo planting system and Tegel system (52). For
split-split (AP) is a variety that consists of 4 kinds of varieties. They are 1R64
(VI), Ciherang (V2) Singkil (V3) and Sunggal (V4). The seed age for split-split
split consists of four levels (Stages: 12 days (VI), 15 days (V2) 18 days (V3) and
21 days V4).
The factors of change observed are the height of plants, the number of
shoots pen cluster, the area of leaf, the index of leaf area, the number grains
per cluster, the number of grained husk, the percentage of empty husk per
grain, the total weight of dry husk, the weight of 1000 grains of dry husk and
the weight of straw biomass.
The result of research reveals that the highest average of the plant
height is in the combination SN2 (97. 63 em), the highest number of shoots
per cluster is in 52 V2 (23, 13 stalks) and V3 U3 23, 20 stalks), the highest
number of grains is in St U3 (18, 48 stalks) and V3 U3 (19,00 stalks) while in
the parameter of leaf area per cluster and the index of leaf area per cluster
and the index of grains is in St V3 (18, 48 stalks) and V3 U3 (19,00 stalks) while
in the parameter of leaf area per cluster and the index of leaf area for all
treatments show the unsignificant influence. The highest number of husk
that contains the most grains is found in St U3 (88,15 %), the least percentage
of harvested dry husk per split is found in SI VI U3 (9,07 %), the highest total
weight of harvested dry husk per split is found in 51 VI 3(9,07 %), the highest
total weight of harvested dry husk per split is found in 51 V4 U3 (21, 93 kg).
The weight of 1000 grains of dry husk found in SN2 Ui is 30,17 kg and the
weight of straw biomass found in V3 U4 is 1,10 tons.
