Drempel Kantong Pasir merupakan bangunan pengendali sedimen yang berfungsi untuk
menambah kapasitas daya tampung material yang berupa lahar dingin (sedimen), melokalisir
aliran sedimen sehingga tidak merusak ke kanan kiri alur sungai yang berupa lahan pertanian,
perkebunan dan sebagainya.
Lokasi daripada Drempel Kantong Pasir (BA.CD6C) ini di bangun pada daerah hilir sumber
endapan sedimen di Kali Rejali tepatnya di Desa Bago Kecamatan Pasirian Kabupaten Lumajang.
Drempel Kantong Pasir (BA.CD6C) merupakan kelanjutan dari pada pembangunan Drempel
Kantong Pasir sebelumnya yaitu Drempel 4, Drempel 6, Drempel 6A, Drempel 6B, Drempel
7,Drempel 8, yang mencapai kapasitas tampungan maksimum. Letak Drempel Kantong Pasir
(BA.CD6C) di rencanakan pada jarak maksimum (L) pada pengaruh endapan sedimen pada
Drempel yang sudah ada.
Untuk menentukan dimensi daripada Drempel Kantong Pasir (BA.CD6C) maka berdasarkan
hasil perhitungan di dapat laju pengangkutan sedimen sebesar 8,113 m /dt. Untuk dimensi teknis
Drempel Kantong Pasir (BA.CD6C) adalah tinggi bangunan 10 m, lebar dasar peluap 100 m,
tebal mercu 4,0 m, tinggi air d atas peluap 1,715 m, kemiringan pada bagian hulu 1: 0,9,
kemiringan pada bagian hilir 1: 0,2, tinggi sayap 2,915 m, tinggi sub dam 3,33 m, panjang lantai
(apron) 18 m, tebal lantai (apron) 1,0 m dan tebal mercu Sub Dam 3,0 m.
