Perkembangan industri yang tumbuh pesat menuntut persaingan antar industri dalam menghasilkan
kualitas produk yang terbaik. Kualitas produk yang baik diperoleh jika proses produksinya berjalan
dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan suatu pemantauan untuk melihat apakah proses produksi
relah begalan dengan baik atau belum.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu sistem pemantauan proses produksi
~iiungunal\anlogika ,/i,::y. Logika fifziy diterapkan ke dalam sistem menggunakan fuzzy inference
sy.stem (FIS) untuk menentukan daerah monitor proses produksi. FIS membuat daerah monitor proses
produksi terbagi menjadi tiga daerah yaitu daerah terkontrol, daerah atensi dan daerah intervensi.
Sistem pemantauan yang dibangun, terdiri dari dua proses utama, yaitu proses penentuan daerah
monitor menggunakan logika fizzy dan proses monitoring. Kedua proses diimplementasikan
menggunakan pemrograman MATLAB. Untuk tampilan muka digunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual
Basic 6.0. Sistem pemantauan menghasilkan indikator out-of-control ketika data sampel produksi yang
digunakan pada proses monitoring berada di daerah intervensi. Sistem juga menghasilkan indikator
warning saat data sampel produksi yang digunakan pada proses monitoring berada di daerah atelxi dan
menghasilkan indikator in-control ketika sampel produksi berada di daerah terkontrol selama proses
monitoring berlangsung. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian, pengembangan sistem pemantauan berbasis
logika ,fuzzy ini bekerja dengan baik.

The development of industrial sector that grows rapidly encourages inter-industrial competition
especially in prnducing best quality product. The best quality of product can be obtained if the
production process ~unswell. Because of that, a system which is able to control the production proses
needs to be developed.
This research's objective is to develop a monitoring system of production process using fuzzy
logic. Fuzzy logic is implemented into the system by using fuzzy inference system @IS) to determine
the monitored area of production process. FIS divides the monitored area into three parts that are
control area, attention area, and intervention area.
The monitoring system consists of two main processes. The fxst one is the determination of the
monitored area based on fuzzy logic and the second one is a monitoring process. MATLAB and Visual
Basic 6.0 are used to develop thesystem. The monitoring system will produce out-of-control indicator
whenever encounters observation data of production sample which falls in the intervention area and
nroduce warnineu~~indicator whenever encounters observation data of ~roductionsarn~lewhich falls in
the attention area. The in-control indicator will he given whenever the system encounters ohse~vation
data of production sample which falls in the control area. From the result of the system testing, it can
be concluded that the system p e r f o m as expected.
