3.1. Penduduk
Konsep penduduk yang dimaksud di sini adalah mereka
yang telah tinggal di Kota Tangerang 6 bulan atau lebih,
atau yang tinggal kurang dari 6 bulan tetapi bermaksud menetap
baik yang memiliki KTP maupun tidak.
Jumlah Penduduk Kota Tangerang tahun 2013 berjumlah
1.952.396 dengan rasio jenis kelamin sebesar 104,44 artinya
setiap 100 penduduk perempuan terdapat 104,44 penduduk laki-
laki. Sedangkan komposisinya masih
sama seperti
tahun sebelumnya
didominasi oleh
penduduk usia produktif dengan rasio
beban ketergantungan
sebesar 38,42 atau setiap 100 penduduk usia produktif 15-64
tahun menanggung
38,42 penduduk usia non produktif.
Sebagai daerah penyangga Ibu kota Negara, Kota Tangerang
dikatakan daerah cukup padat, setiap Kilometer persegi dihuni
oleh 11.861 jiwa di mana Kecamatan Larangan merupakan
Kecamatan terpadat dengan penghuni 19.146 jiwa untuk
setiap kilometer perseginya, dan Kecamatan Neglasari merupakan
kecamatan yang paling sedikit tingkat
kepadatannya dengan
penghuni sebanyak 6.551 jiwa untuk
setiap kilometer
perseginya.

the same as that in the previous year which is dominated by
working age population. The dependency ratio was 38.42; it
means that every 100 productive population 15-64 years old

kilometer. Larangan is the most crowded district in Tangerang
Municipality with density of 19,146
