Principles of consolidation continued Transactions with related parties
b. Principles of consolidation continued
The Group re-assesses whether or not it controls an investee if facts and circumstances indicate that there are changes to one or more of the three elements of control. Consolidation of a subsidiary begins when the Group obtains control over the subsidiary and ceases when the Group loses control of the subsidiary. Assets, liabilities, income and expenses of a subsidiary acquired or disposed of during the year are included in the consolidated statements of comprehensive income from the date the Group gains control until the date the Group ceases to control the subsidiary. Profit or loss and each component of other comprehensive income OCI are attributed to the equity holders of the Company and to the non-controlling interests, even if this results in the non-controlling interests having a deficit balance. Intercompany balances and transactions have been eliminated in the consolidated financial statements. In case of loss of control over a subsidiary, the Group: derecognizes the assets including goodwill and liabilities of the subsidiary at the carrying amounts on the date when it loses control; derecognizes the carrying amounts of any non-controling interests of its former subsidiary on the date when it loses control; recognizes the fair value of the consideration received if any from the transaction, events, or condition that caused the loss of control; recognizes the fair value of any investment retained in the subsidiary at fair value on the date of loss of control; recognizes any surplus or deficit in profit or loss that is attributable to the Group.c. Transactions with related parties
The Group has transactions with related parties. The definition of related parties used is in accordance with IAS 24, Related Party Disclosures. The party which is considered a related party is a person or entity that is related to the entity that is preparing its financial statements. Key management personnel are identified as the persons having authority and responsibility for planning, directing and controlling the activities of the entity, directly or indirectly, including any director whether executive or otherwise of the Group. The related party status extends to the key management of the subsidiaries to the extent they direct the operations of subsidiaries with minimal involvement from the Company’s management.d.
