ABSTRAK

Decision Support System (DSS) merupakan hal yang penting dalam
mendukung pengambilan keputusan perusahaan dalam melakukan kegiatan
operasionalnya. Dalam kegiatan operasionalnya, perusahaan membutuhkan modal
kerja untuk membelanjai kebutuhan perusahaan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk memperoleh desain DSS yang dapat membantu dalam
menganalisis penentuan kebutuhan dan penilaian kinerja modal kerja pada UKM
bidang usaha pengolahan makanan dan konveksi. Penelitian ini merupakan
penelitian eksperimentasi, dengan menggunakan spradsheet MS Excel sebagai
software DSS. Hasil penelitian adalah dalam membuat model penentuan
kebutuhan modal kerja dan penilaian kinerja modal pada UKM dapat
menggunakan pemodelan matematika pada spreadsheet. Pemodelan Matematika
dilakukan dalam tiga tahap. Tahap pertama adalah mendesain input data, tahap
kedua adalah desain formulasi analisis data, tahap ketiga adalah mendesain
output.
