DALAM MENGANALISIS DOSIS KEMOTERAPI KANKER; Dwi Nila
Indriani; 070210101114; 2007; 107 halaman; Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika;
Jurusan Pendidikan MIPA; FKIP; Universitas Jember
Konstruksi model matematis dari suatu fenomena dalam bidang matematika
merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Salah satunya dapat diterapkan dalam proses
kemoterapi kanker. Sebagai salah satu penyakit yang mematikan, pengobatan
kemoterapi kanker perlu dioptimalkan untuk mencegah proliferasi sel yang tidak
terkendali. Namun proses kemoterapi yang tidak tepat, dapat berakibat fatal bagi
pasien penyakit kanker. Sehingga interval waktu dan dosis yang tepat dalam
kemoterapi sangat efektif untuk mengurangi ukuran kanker. Permasalahan
kemoterapi kanker dimodelkan sebagai permasalahan untuk penentuan dosis obat
optimum.
Permasalahan
tersebut
selanjutnya
ditransformasikan
menjadi
permasalahan pemograman nonlinier, yang selanjutnya diselesaikan dengan software
MATLAB.
Penulis menggunakan software MATLAB (Matrix Laboratory) sebagai
software aplikasi untuk membantu penelitian sebab MATLAB merupakan program
yang tepat dalam mencari solusi iteratif suatu PDB. Hasil programming dari metode
Runge-Kutta Fehlberg order lima berupa data dan grafik perkiraan jumlah populasi
sel kanker dan sel effektor immun berdasarkab model kemoterapi kanker. Format

simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dosis obat dalam suatu periode pengobatan
kemoterapi kanker akan dikurangi dosisnya seiring dengan berkurangnya ukuran
populasi sel kanker dan meningkatnya populasi sel kekebalan tubuh. Setelah populasi
ukuran tumor dalam tubuh mencapai titik keseimbangan nol, dan reaksi dari proses
pengobatan kemoterapi berhenti, maka fungsi pertahanan dan kekebalan tubuh akan

Perbedaan mendasar antara Runge-Kutta Fehlberg order lima dengan metode
Runge-Kutta order lima adalah dalam penentuan koefisien formula untuk k1, k2, k3,
k4, k5, k6 serta penentuan error contol yang digunakan yaitu dengan error= RKF4 −
RKF5. Konvergensi metode Runge-Kutta Fehlberg order lima dan metode RungeKutta order lima dapat dikatakan baik karena error (kesalahan) yang dihasilkan
semakin menurun untuk setiap iterasi. Untuk nilai toleransi 10−2 dan 10−4
menunjukkan metode Runge-Kutta Fehlberg order lima lebih efektif dibandingkan
dengan metode Runge-Kutta order lima. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan jumlah iterasi,
dan waktu dari pemrograman Runge Kutta Fehlberg Order Lima lebih sedikit dari
pada Runge Kutta Order Lima. Dari hasil simulasi secara numerik dengan
menggunakanMATLAB diperoleh nilai numerik dari dosis obat sebesar 78,659123
dan interval waktu pemberian dosis optimal akan diterapkan pada awal periode
pengobatan kemoterapi yaitu pada saat t < 20 hari dan konsentrasi obat akan sangat
minimum bahkan selesai diberikan pada akhir periode pengobatan yaitu pada saat t <
80 hari yaitu mendekati titik keseimbangan kanker nol. Ini merupakan dosis optimal
yang dicapai dalam menekan ukuran populasi sel kanker seminimal mungkin. Proses
ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan dosis obat dalam suatu periode pengobatan
kemoterapi kanker akan dikurangi dosisnya seiring dengan berkurangnya ukuran
populasi sel kanker dan meningkatnya populasi sel kekebalan tubuh. Setelah populasi
ukuran kanker dalam tubuh mencapai titik keseimbangan nol, dan reaksi dari proses
pengobatan kemoterapi berhenti, maka fungsi pertahanan dan kekebalan tubuh akan
digantikan oleh sel limposit sebagai salah satu sistem kekebalan tubuh.

EFEKTIFITASMETODE RUNGE KUTTA FEHLBERG ORDER LIMA
DALAM MENGANALISIS DOSIS KEMOTERAPI KANKER; Dwi Nila
Indriani; 070210101114; 2007; 107 halaman; Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika;
Jurusan Pendidikan MIPA; FKIP; Universitas Jember
Konstruksi model matematis dari suatu fenomena dalam bidang matematika
merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Salah satunya dapat diterapkan dalam proses
kemoterapi kanker. Sebagai salah satu penyakit yang mematikan, pengobatan
kemoterapi kanker perlu dioptimalkan untuk mencegah proliferasi sel yang tidak
terkendali. Namun proses kemoterapi yang tidak tepat, dapat berakibat fatal bagi
pasien penyakit kanker. Sehingga interval waktu dan dosis yang tepat dalam
kemoterapi sangat efektif untuk mengurangi ukuran kanker. Permasalahan
kemoterapi kanker dimodelkan sebagai permasalahan untuk penentuan dosis obat
optimum.
Permasalahan
tersebut
selanjutnya
ditransformasikan
menjadi
permasalahan pemograman nonlinier, yang selanjutnya diselesaikan dengan software
MATLAB.
Penulis menggunakan software MATLAB (Matrix Laboratory) sebagai
software aplikasi untuk membantu penelitian sebab MATLAB merupakan program
yang tepat dalam mencari solusi iteratif suatu PDB. Hasil programming dari metode
Runge-Kutta Fehlberg order lima berupa data dan grafik perkiraan jumlah populasi
sel kanker dan sel effektor immun berdasarkab model kemoterapi kanker. Format
programming dijalankan terhadap kasus kemoterapi kanker terhadap kanker payudara
sebab merupakan salah satu kasus yang sering muncul dalam masyarakat. Hasil dari
simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dosis obat dalam suatu periode pengobatan
kemoterapi kanker akan dikurangi dosisnya seiring dengan berkurangnya ukuran
populasi sel kanker dan meningkatnya populasi sel kekebalan tubuh. Setelah populasi
ukuran tumor dalam tubuh mencapai titik keseimbangan nol, dan reaksi dari proses
pengobatan kemoterapi berhenti, maka fungsi pertahanan dan kekebalan tubuh akan
digantikan oleh sel limposit sebagai salah satu sistem kekebalan tubuh.

Perbedaan mendasar antara Runge-Kutta Fehlberg order lima dengan metode
Runge-Kutta order lima adalah dalam penentuan koefisien formula untuk k1, k2, k3,
k4, k5, k6 serta penentuan error contol yang digunakan yaitu dengan error= RKF4 −
RKF5. Konvergensi metode Runge-Kutta Fehlberg order lima dan metode RungeKutta order lima dapat dikatakan baik karena error (kesalahan) yang dihasilkan
semakin menurun untuk setiap iterasi. Untuk nilai toleransi 10−2 dan 10−4
menunjukkan metode Runge-Kutta Fehlberg order lima lebih efektif dibandingkan
dengan metode Runge-Kutta order lima. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan jumlah iterasi,
dan waktu dari pemrograman Runge Kutta Fehlberg Order Lima lebih sedikit dari
pada Runge Kutta Order Lima. Dari hasil simulasi secara numerik dengan
menggunakanMATLAB diperoleh nilai numerik dari dosis obat sebesar 78,659123
dan interval waktu pemberian dosis optimal akan diterapkan pada awal periode
pengobatan kemoterapi yaitu pada saat t < 20 hari dan konsentrasi obat akan sangat
minimum bahkan selesai diberikan pada akhir periode pengobatan yaitu pada saat t <
80 hari yaitu mendekati titik keseimbangan kanker nol. Ini merupakan dosis optimal
yang dicapai dalam menekan ukuran populasi sel kanker seminimal mungkin. Proses
ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan dosis obat dalam suatu periode pengobatan
kemoterapi kanker akan dikurangi dosisnya seiring dengan berkurangnya ukuran
populasi sel kanker dan meningkatnya populasi sel kekebalan tubuh. Setelah populasi
ukuran kanker dalam tubuh mencapai titik keseimbangan nol, dan reaksi dari proses
pengobatan kemoterapi berhenti, maka fungsi pertahanan dan kekebalan tubuh akan
digantikan oleh sel limposit sebagai salah satu sistem kekebalan tubuh.
