Sosial Kota Palopo Dalam Angka 2015 85 kehadiran sarana, prasarana dan fasilitas pendidikan saat ini telah cukup lengkap. Dikatakan demikian oleh karena hal tersebut juga ditunjang dengan kehadiran sejumlah sekolah pada jenjang akademidiploma sampai UnivertsitasPerguruan Tinggi pada tahun ajaran 20132014 yang mana jumlahnya cukup banyak yaitu 9 unit universitas perguruan tinggi dan 5 unit sekolah jenjang pendidikan akademidiploma. 2 . KESEHATAN DAN KELUARGA BERENCANA Tersedianya sarana kesehatan yang cukup memadai seperti Rumah Sakit, Rumah Bersalin, Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat Puskesmas, Poliklinik dan Balai Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak BKIA tentu sangat menunjang peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat. Rumah sakit pemerintah yang ada di Kota presence of facilities, infrastructure and educational facilities currently have sufficient complete. It was supported with some Academy and University in 20122013 which there were 9 unit university and 5 Academy.

2. HEALTH AND FAMILY PLANING

Health facilities like Public Hospital, Mathernity Hospital, Public Health Center, Policlnic and BKIA absolutly can increace the health of people. Goverment Hospital in Palopo 2014 was 3 units. Sosial Kota Palopo Dalam Angka 2015 86 Palopo Tahun 2014 sebanyak 2 unit. Disamping penyediaan sarana kesehatan, untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat usaha penyediaan tenaga kesehatan sangat perlu diperhatikan Tabel 4.3.2. Tahun 2014 jumlah tenaga kesehatan tercatat sebanyak 454 orang yang bertugas pada Dinas Kesehatan dan Puskesmas. Besides the provision of health facilities, to improve health services to the community health worker supply business is to consider Table 4.3.2. 3. A G A M A Sebagai Negara yang berfalsafah

Pancasila, pelayanan kehidupan beragama dan kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa senantiasa dikembangkan dan ditingkatkan untuk membina kehidupan bermasyarakat dan mengatasi berbagai masalah sosial budaya yang mungkin dapat menghambat kemajuan bangsa. Kota Palopo adalah daerah yang mayoritas penduduknya menganut agama Islam, sejalan dengan hal tersebut maka tempat peribadatan bagi penganut agama Islam terlihat jauh lebih banyak dari agama yang lain, sampai dengan keadaan akhir Tahun 2014 jumlah Masjid sebanyak 174 unit, mushola 45 sehingga jumlah tempat ibadah untuk ummat muslim sebanyak 219. 3. RELIGION As a State which have philosophy of Five Principles, life service believe to God which Single always improved to construct the life into society and overcome various social culture problems which possible can persue the national progress. Palopo Municipality which its majority moslems, in line with mentioned worship for moslems was more than other religion until end of 2014number of Mosque was 174 it, Musholla were 45 units so there were 219 units of moslems facilitie. Sosial Kota Palopo Dalam Angka 2015 88 Sementara tempat ibadah umat nasrani masing-masing tercatat hanya 68 unit gereja protestan dan 5 unit gereja katolik berikut untuk ummat budha 2 unit dan hindu 1 unit. Protestant Church were 68 units and 5 units catholic chruch and for Monistry was 2 unit and Temple was 1 unit. BAB V PERTANIAN 1.

PENGGUNAAN LAHAN Kota Palopo dengan luas 24.752 Ha terdiri dari 2.687,00 Ha 10,86 persen Lahan Sawah dan 22.065,00 Ha 89,14 persen Lahan bukan sawah. Lahan sawah di Kota Palopo pada tahun 2014 menurut jenis pengairannya terdiri dari 90,39 persen irigasi dan 9,60 persen tadah hujan. Sedangkan Lahan bukan persawahan terdiri dari 59,81 persen bangunan dan pekarangan, 6,65 persen tegalkebun, 6,11 persen ladanghuma, 0,09 peren padang rumput, 5,91 persen lahan sementara tidak diusahakan, 6,05 persen ditanami pohonhutan rakyat, 9,11 persen perkebunan, dan 6,26 persen lainnya.

CHAPTER V AGRICULTURE

1. LAND USED

Palopo Municipality area was 24.752 Ha consist of 2.687,00 Ha 10,86 percent wetland and 22.065,00 Ha 89,14percent not wetland. Wetland by Type of irrigation in Palopo Municipality in 2014 devided into 90,39 percent irrigation and 9,60 percent was rain fed. Not wetland consist of 59,81 percent building and yard, 6,65 percent was Dry Land Near Rice Field Estates, 6,11 percent was garden., 0,09 percent was savanna, 5,91 percent was not in used for while, 6,05 percent was plantedforest, 9,11 percent was State Forest, and 6,26 percent was others. 2. PERTANIAN TANAMAN

PANGAN Sub Sektor Tanaman bahan makanan terdiri dari tanaman padi, jagung, ubi kayu, ubi jalar, kacang Tanah, kacang hijau dan kacang kedelai. Petani di Kota Palopo pada tahun 2014 menanam tananam padi, jagung, ubi kayu dan ubi jalar dimana total produksinya adalah 18.895 ton padi, 5.855 ton jagung, 281 ton ubi kayu, 101 ton ubi jalar. Untuk lebih jelas dapat dilihat pada table 5.2.1 - table 5.2.5

3. PERKEBUNAN

Produksi tanaman perkebunan rakyat pada tahun 2014 mengalami fluktuasi pada beberapa komoditi, adapun beberapa komoditi yang mengalami kenaikan adalah kopi arabika, coklat, cengkeh, kemiri,

Food Crops sub sector consist of Paddy, Maize, Cassava, Sweet Popatoes, peanuts, Small green Pea and Soybeans. Farmers in Palopo at 2014 only planted paddy, Maize, Cassava, and sweet potatoes where total of its production was 18.895 ton paddy, 5.855 ton maize, 281 ton cassava, 101 ton sweet potatoes. For more detail can be seen in table 5.2.1 up to 5.2.5. 3. ESTATES Production of Estates in 2014 was fluctuative for some commodities which increased were arabica coffe, cocoa, clove, candlenut, Pertanian Kota Palopo Dalam Angka 2015 157 kapuk, lada, aren, pinang dan sagu. Sedangkan komoditi yang lainnya mengalami penurunan. Penurunan hasil beberapa komoditi perkebunan disebabkan oleh adanya peremajaan tanaman yang sudah tua. Untuk lebih lengkapnya dapat dilihat pada table 5.3.1. sampai dengan table 5.3.5

4. PETERNAKAN

Pada tahun 2014 di Kota Palopo tercatat jumlah populasi ternak secara rata-rata mengalami kenaikan. Populasi sapi mengalami peningkatan 2,68 persen atau dari 2.943 ekor menjadi 3.022 ekor pada tahun 2014, kambing mengalami kenaikan sebesar 1,40 persen atau dari 2.172 kambing pada tahun 2013 menjadi 2.250 kambing pada tahun 2014, kuda sebanyak 2 ekor, kapok, papper, sugar palm, areca nut, and sago. Meanwhile the other was decreased. The decreased of some commodities because of replanted. For more detail can be seen in table 5.3.1 up to 5.3.5

4. LIVESTOCK

In Palopo at 2014 there were increased as significant for population of big livestock. 5. PERIKANAN

Letak Kota Palopo yang berbatasan langsung dengan Teluk Bone memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap perekonomian, salah satunya adalah sub sektor perikanan. Produksi budidaya perikanan didominasi oleh perikanan laut dengan jumlah produksi 10.821,50 ton, sedangkan perikanan darat 1.915,50 ton. Produksi perikanan darat terdiri dari produksi tambak bandeng sebanyak 1.740,00 ton dan 165,50 produksi tambak udang, 175,50 ton produksi di kolam serta 95,00 ton untuk produksi di sawah minapadi.

5. FISHERY

Palopo Position which near by gulf of Bone gave big contribution to the economy of Palopo, one of it was fishery sub sector. Production of Fishery dominate with marine fishery it was 10.821,50 ton, land fishery 1.915,50 ton. Production of land fishery consist of milkfish brackist about 1.740,00 ton and 165,50 ton production of shrimp brackist, 175,50 ton production of Fresh water pond and 95,00 ton production in wetland. 6. KEHUTANAN

Luas kawasan hutan berdasarkan fungsinya di Kota Palopo dibagi menjadi Hutuan Lindung, Hutan Alam dan Hutan Wisata, Hutan Produksi Terbatas, Hutan Produksi Tetap serta Hutan Konversi dimana pada tahun 2014 mengalami penurunan luas lahan yang cukup signifikan jika dibandingkan dengan tahun 2013. Untuk produksi hutan di Kota Palopo hanya kelompok rimba campuran yang berproduksi pada tahun 2014

6. FORESTY

Forest area based on function in Palopo Municipality devided in to Protection Forest, Nature Tourism Forest, Limited Production Forest, Definitive Production Forest and Convertible Forest in 2014 the areas was decreased significantly if we compare with the area in 2013. Production of forest in Palopo Municipality recorded just mix wood in 2014 that has producted.
