ABSTRAK
Data KDP di Indonesia dari data domestic violence, KDP menempati urutan kedua dengan 635
kasus (3,82 persen) setelah kasus-kasus kekerasan terhadap istri yang berjumlah sebesar 4.886
kasus (29,41 persen). Penelitian Children, Youth & Family background (2000) University of
Pittsburgh Office of Child Development menyatakan 42% remaja awal dan 72 % remaja
menengah menjadi sekaligus korban KDP. Dalam kasus kekerasan, kebanyakan orang hanya
mengetahui dan mempercayai one side violence relationship, namun pada faktanya ada yang
menjadi mutually violence relationship. Maka hal tersebut memunculkan persoalan yang perlu
dikaji lebih mendalam.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor
yang melatarbelakangi subyek menjadi pelaku sekaligus korban KDP, dinamika antar
faktortersebut dan faktorpaling dominan yang membuat subyek menjadi pelaku sekaligus korban
KDP. Metode penelitian menggunakan tehnik wawancara sebagai satu-satunya cara untuk
memperoleh data penelitian. Adapun subyek penelitian adalah satu orang pelaku sekaligus
korban KDP, berstatus masih berpacaran dan lama / masa berpacaran minimal 3 bulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang menyebabkan subyek menjadi korban KDP adalah 1)
kebutuhan besar akan kasih sayang, 2) kebutuhan besar akan perhatian, dan 3) pola kepribadian
dependensi, 4) kurang mampu melakukan problem solving, 5) Modelling Perilaku kekerasan,
dan 6) kompensasi perasaan inferior. Kebutuhan subyek akan kasih sayang dan perhatian yang
besar di sebabkan oleh pola asuh mengabaikan dan otoriter yang dikembangkan oleh orang tua
subyek. sehingga mengembangkan pola kepribadian dependensi sebagai bentuk kompensasi
untuk memenuhi dua kebutuhan besar sebelumnya. Hal ini yang rentan membuat subyek menjadi
korban. Posisi subyek sebagai pelaku diawali dari perasaan inferior subyek yang disebabkan
perlakuan orang tua yang kurang baik terhadap subyek. Selain itu pola asuh otoriter orang tua,
membuat subyek kurang memiliki kesempatan untuk belajar mengambil keputusan dan
memecahkan masalahnya sendiri sehingga menyebabkan subyek menjadi kurangmampu dalam
melakukan problem solving. Perasaan inferior yang dirasakan subyek menjadi semakin kuat.
Pada saat subyek sudah merasa tidak mampu menghadapi tekanan, perasaan inferior tersebut
dikompensasi menjadi perilaku agresif. Terdapat dua faktor utama yang menyebabkan subyek
menjadi pelaku sekaligus korban KDP. Faktor tersebut adalah kebutuhan akan kasih sayang yang
besar dan perasaan inferior.
ABSTRACT
The data of Dating violence in Indonesia from domestic violence data, the Dating violence
occupy the second place by 635 cases (3,82%) after the cases of violence of violence toward the
wives which is about 4.886 cases (29,41%). In violence cases, must people only know and
believe one side violence relationship, however in fact there are certain people who become
mutually violence relationship. So that, it raises up the problem that need to be investigated.
Children, Youth & Family background (2000) University of Pittsburgh reported between 42%
and 72% of early and middle adolescents who experience dating violence report having been
both the perpetrator and the victim.
The research is about case study research, which has purposes to know the background factors of
the subject who become the doer and the victim of DVR, the dynamics between these factors and
the most dominant faktor that make the subject become the doer and the victim of DVR. The
research method used the interview as the only way to get the research data. The subject of these
research is one doer and also the victim of DVR, who has the engagement status and become
engagement about 3 months.
The result of this research showed the factors which is caused the subject become the victim of
DVR: (1) needs of love, (2) needs to be attention, (3) dependency personal behavior, (4) have no
efforts in problem solving, (5) violence behavior modeling, and (6) compensation of inferior
fellings. Subject needs of affection and careness were caused by the way of careless and
authorithative which is develop by subject’s parents. So that it developed the dependency
personal behavior as the compensation to fulfill two needs before. These things are susceptible
that make the subject become victim. Whereas the subject position as the doer is preced by the
inferio feelings of subject which caused by the parents behavior towards the subject. Besides the
parent’s authorithative behavior, make the subject has no chance to learn how to make decision
and solve his problem so that it caused the subject has no effort to make problem solving.
Inverior feelings of the subject become stronger. At the tme the subject has the feelings to face
the pressure, the inferior feelings has compensation to become aggressive behavior. There are
two main factors which caused the doer and also the victim of DVR . These factors are need of
affection and inferior feelings.
