Modulation of Negative Contrary or positive double negative or double negative for positive is a concrete translation procedure which can

In this case, the translator translates when my mother wasn’t looking
into saat ibuku lengah. In literal translation when my mother wasn’t
lookingmeanssaat ibuku tidak melihat. But, the translator changes it into positive meaning.
The word of when my mother wasn’t looking is something negative
in source language, but in the translation the translator uses the word saat ibuku lengah this word in target language is a positive statement.
Therefore, there is a change of point of view in the SL from negative into positive meaning in the TL.
Furthermore, the sentence when my mother wasn’t looking translated
into saat ibuku lengah in the target language is meaningful; this translation result delivers the meaning from the source language.

yang sama. The translator translates into positive meaning. There is a change of point of view in the SL from positive into negative form in TL.
Furthermore, the sentence I might not do the same is translated into aku mungkin tidak akan melakukan hal yang sama in the target language is
meaningful, this translation result has delivered the meaning from the source language.
