The method used in the study is descriptive method. The researcher describes the data whether the data categorize into strong or weak swear words
and analyzing them whether they are considered taboo or not.
3. The Technique of Data Analysis
The research used the data qualitatively especially the theory of swear words and its relationship with taboo words.

The unit analyses of the research are the Crank movie script taken from www.imsdb.com.
CHAPTER II THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK
A. Definition of Swear Words
Swear words are the words that are said as a reaction toward something happened that people do not expect and want it. The action that people do not
want or realize can make them feel disappointed, angry, annoyed etc. People who cannot control their emotion when facing this situation sometimes said some
words. Because these words are expression of their feeling, their characteristics are spontaneous, rude, and impolite to be used. These are called swear words.
According to Estrich and Sperber, the satisfactions of people who are angry or disappointed are based on their ability of saying swear words.

Thus, it is an utterance when people get powerful emotion. It can be insult, annoyance,
surprise, admire etc. there are some explanation from the experts about swear words. One of it is given by Swan.
