My Name is Khan is a movie mostly presented about the life of Indian immigrant in America. Notably two characters the writer wants to analyze, Rizvan Khan and Mandira. Both characters are representing India’s culture in America. In analyzing the cultural identity in this film, the writer focuses to analyze the dialogues, scenes, and any thoughts of the characters which can represent their culture as the corpus of the research. They are classified into two groups: characters and cultural identity. 1. Mandira was fighting for the justice on her son’s death for 6 months, and then she decided to seek the justice of that case by herself.Scene 4 Hard worker 2. He speaks Indian language with his Bhai, Mandira, and all Indians he meets around him. Rizvan held his wedding day by a traditional Indian wedding ceremony. Mandira also likes sing an Indian song. She sings it to motivate herself in doing anything. She always sings it together with Rizvan. As a Hindu, Mandira still keeps praying depends on her religion. She blesses her son with blowing her son’s face on and gave some blessing cake to her son.
