Abstract: NTD province is a/ood surplus area, but at the same time it belongs 10 an area Ihal hus a high risk of
food shortage. Therefore , STB should requ.ire a handling priority in Ihis particular aspecl. In Ihe communiry,
there are groups (hat can ./01/0..... th.! mark.et mechanism, but there are also groups with low incomes who need
commUirity institutions OJ" mechanisms outside the market. This study aimed to develop models vf community
institutions to improve food securir)' in NTB. The analytical me/hods used were Analysis of Food Security,
InslllulionaJ Descriptive Analysis, Analysis of Transaction Cost (TC) and Palh Analysis. The research result
showed that the i;1come and food stocks of families and pal/ems of community interactions in NTB through
social trunsjers had increa.)·l:!d fhe food secun'ty of indiyiduals / families in NTB. Development models of
