At the end of the subject, students should be able to: 1. Define the basic laws and comprehend the basic concept of physic. [PO1,CS,TS] 2. Apply the laws and concepts systematically in problem solving [PO1,CS,TS] 3. Relate between the various topics covered and their application in the field of engineering [PO1,PO4,CS,TS] 4. Make accurate measurement and present result in a proper scientific report [PO1,PO4,PO6,CS,TS]

2.0 SYNOPSIS

This topic covers in this subject are : Forces, Acceleration and Newton’s second law of motion, Motion with a changing velocity, Circular motion, Conservation of Energy, Linear momentum, Fluids, Heat, Temperature, Electric forces and fields, Capacitor, Electric current and Circuits, Reflection and Refraction of light. .
