5.1 Pertanian Tanaman Pangan
Luas lahan pertanian tahun 2011 mencapai 56 persen dari luas
wilayah Kabupaten Ngawi. Hal ini menggambarkan sektor pertanian
merupakan sektor andalan bagi penduduk Ngawi.
Produksi padi mengalami penurunan dari 697.501 ton tahun
2010 menjadi 572.984 ton tahun 2011 yang berarti mengalami
penurunan 17,85 persen Tabel 5.1.1. Penurunan produksi padi
terjadi dalam kurun waktu dua tahun terakhir.
5.2 Perkebunan
Perkebunan di Kabupaten Ngawi meliputi perkebunan kelapa,
tebu, coklat dll. Perkebunan tebu merupakan
perkebunan yang
memiliki area terbesar di Kab. Ngawi sebesar 5.959,5 ha. Produksi
tahun 2011 naik 114.947 kwintal atau naik 35,79 persen. Diharapkan
produksi tebu naik dari tahun ke tahun sehingga dapat mendorong
kenaikan produksi gula.
5.3 Peternakan
Usaha ternak besar dan kecil di Kab. Ngawi terdiri dari antara lain
sapi, kerbau, kambing, domba, sedangkan jenis unggas yang di
ternak antara lain ayam buras, ayam petelur, ayam pedaging dll. Pada
tahun 2011, jumlah seluruh hewan ternak naik dibanding tahun 2010
kecuali kerbau yang mengalami penurunan jumlah ternak sebesar 50
ekor atau 2 persen.
5.1 Agriculture

leading sector at Ngawi Regency.
But this years, paddy production has decrease from 697.501 ton in
2010 to 572.984 ton in 2011, its mean paddy production decrease
17,85 percen

5.2 Estate Crops
Estate Crop in Ngawi include coconut, sugar cane, cocoa, etc.
Sugar cane estate crop is a estate crop that has the largest area in the
district ngawi of 5.959,5 Ha. Production in 2011 rose 114.947
quintals or rose 35,79 percent. Expected sugar cane production
increase from year to year so as to encourage increase of the sugar
production.
5.3 Livestock and Poultry
Big and small livestock farms in the regency ngawi consists of
cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep. The poultry of the species there is
domestic hen, laying hens, broiler hen. In 2010, the total number of
livestock increased compared to the year 2009 except the buffalo, which
dropped 50 heads of cattle or 2 percent.

5.4 Kehutanan
Kabupaten Ngawi merupakan penghasil kayu jati terbesar di Jawa
Timur. Luas areal tanaman hutan rakyat pada tahun 2011 sebesar 300
Ha. Jenis kayu yang diproduksi dari hutan rakyat yaitu jati, mahoni,
akasia, sono, pinus, eucalyptus dll. Pada tahun 2011 produksi kayu
jati sebesar
1.863,29 M

, berdasarkan Dinas kehutanan dan
Perkebunan Kabupaten
Ngawi sedangkan berdasarkan KPH Ngawi
yaitu sebesar 14.655,5 M

. Luas areal hutan dilihat dari tataguna
hutan, hutan produksi merupakan hutan terluas dengan luas 32.009,30
Ha.
5.5 Perikanan
Perikanan Darat di Kabupaten Ngawi memilki luas 1.381.895 Ha
dengan produksi 1.690.308 Kg. Kecamatan
Bringin sebagai
penyumbang produksi ikan terbesar yaitu 12,91 persen dari total
produksi kabupaten Ngawi. Jenis ikan yang dikembangbiakan di
kabupaten Ngawi yaitu Lele, Patin, Gurami, Mujair dll. Perkembangan
produksi ikan dari tahun 2009 hingga 2011 naik terus. Pemerintah
Kabupaten Ngawi
juga menggalakkan penduduk Ngawi
untuk mengkonsumsi ikan dengan acara “GEMARIKAN”.
5.4 Forestry
Ngawi is one of the largest producer of teak in East Java.
Forest crop area in 2011 of 300 Ha. Type of wood produced from forests
is teak, mahogany, acacia, sono, pine, eucalyptus, etc.

5.5 Fishery
