Actually, it is not only personification and hyperbole which can show the meaning of slogan attractive and imaginative but also simile can do as personification do . Unfortunately there is no simile found in cigarette advertisements slogans which been analyzed . Overstating the information like in hyperbole and giving a character of animate to an inanimate like in personification cause the cigarette advertisement slogans creating strong impression and attractive .
