SEDIAAN MASKER SHEET YANG
MENGANDUNG PUTIH TELUR
ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Putih telur merupakan masker alami yang sederhana dan mudah
digunakan untuk perawatan kulit wajah. Adapun manfaat dari putih telur yaitu
mengecilkan pori-pori, mengencangkan kulit, melembutkan kulit, menghilangkan
flek-flek hitam bekas jerawat atau flek hitam akibat terbakar matahari, dan
menjaga kelembapan kulit. Oleh karena itu, putih telur di formulasikan dalam
sediaan masker sheet sehingga dapat bermanfaat sebagai anti-aging.
Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memformulasi putih telur dalam bentuk
sediaan masker sheet, serta menguji efektivitas anti-aging terhadap kulit wajah
sukarelawan.
Metode: Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental. Sebelum diformulasikan
dalam masker sheet terlebih dahulu dilakukan pembuatan tepung putih telur yaitu
telur ayam kampung dibersihkan, dipecahkan kemudian dipisahkan bagian kuning
dan putih telurnya, lalu putih telur dihomogenkan menggunakan mixer selama 3
menit hingga tercampur rata, kemudian putih telur dibekukan di freezer selama 24
jam pada suhu -300C, lalu dimasukkan ke dalam freeze dryer, setelah kering
kemudian dihaluskan sehingga didapatkan tepung putih telur. Basis essence
masker sheet diformulasikan dengan menambahkan tepung putih telur masingmasing dengan konsentrasi 1, 3, 5, 7 dan 9 % kemudian dibuat menjadi bentuk

sediaan masker sheet. Pengujian terhadap basis essence masker sheet meliputi
pemeriksaan homogenitas, uji viskositas, uji pH, uji kestabilan, uji iritasi dan uji
efektivitas anti-aging masker sheet menggunakan alat skin analyzer dan moisture
checker terhadap kulit wajah selama empat minggu. Parameter yang diukur yaitu
kadar air, kehalusan, besar pori, banyak noda, dan kerutan. Perawatan dilakukan
selama empat minggu dengan mengaplikasikan masker sheet satu kali seminggu.
Hasil: Basis essence masker sheet yang diformulasi bersifat homogen, pH 6,2-6,6,
viskositas 250-375 cps, tidak mengiritasi kulit, dan stabil dalam penyimpanan
selama 12 minggu. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi putih telur semakin tinggi
perubahan kondisi kulit yaitu kadar air semakin meningkat (43,3%), kulit semakin
halus (23,1%), pori-pori yang semakin mengecil (25%), noda (17,7%) dan keriput
yang semakin berkurang (23,2%). Konsentrasi paling optimal yang dipakai pada
kadar air, kehalusan kulit, pori dan noda adalah 7 % , sedangkan pada keriput
adalah 9 %.
Kesimpulan: Putih telur dapat diformulasikan dalam sediaan masker sheet
semakin tinggi konsentrasi putih telur, efektivitas anti-aging juga semakin tinggi.

THE FORMULATION AND EFFECTIVENESS TEST OF ANTI-AGING
IN FORM OF SHEET MUST WHICH
CONTENT EGG WHITE
ABSTRACT
Background: The egg white is a natural mask that is simple and easy to use for
facial skin care. The benefits of egg white are shrink pores, tighten skin, soften
skin, remove black spots acne scars or dark spots due to sunburn, and keep the
skin moist. Therefore, egg whites were formulated in the mask sheet to be useful
as an anti-aging.
Objective: The aim of this study was to formulate in form of egg white mask
sheet, and also to test the effectiveness of anti-aging on the volunteers’ skin.
Method: The research method used in this study was experimental research. The
must sheet must be made into flour from white egg before being formulated. The
procedured were as follow; cleaning kampong chicken egg, fracured and
separated egg yellow and egg white, and then homogenized the egg white by
using mixer for 3 minutes, put it into freeze dryer, and pulverized to obtain white
flour egg after being dryed. Base essence mask sheet was formulated by adding
egg white flour each with a concentration of 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9% and then made into
dosage forms mask sheet. Tests on the basis of essence mask sheet included
examining homogeneity, viscosity test, pH test, stability test, irritation test, and

the effectiveness test of anti-aging mask sheet by using a tool for skin analyzer
and moisture checker on facial skin for four weeks. The parameters which was
measured were the water content, fineness, large pores, many stains and wrinkles.
Treatment was done for four weeks by applying a sheet mask once a week.
Results: Base essence mask sheet formulated was homogeneous, pH 6.2 to 6.6,
the viscosity of 250-375 cps, do not irritate the skin, and stable in storage for 12
weeks. The higher the concentration of egg white, the more changes the skin
condition. The changed were increasing water content (43.3%), the skin becomes
smoother (23.1%), pores become smaller (25%), stains (17.7 %) and wrinkles are
diminishing (23.2%). The most optimal concentration used in water content,
smoothness of skin, pores and blemishes is 7%, while the wrinkles is 9%.
Conclusion: The egg whites can be formulated in to a sheet mask, the higher
concentration of egg white, the more higher effectiveness of anti-aging.
