PADA AIR LIMBAH RUMAH SAKIT DENGAN METODE
TITRIMETRI REFLUKS TERTUTUP DI
LABORATORIUM SUCOFINDO
ABSTRAK

Analisa kadar chemical oxygen demand (COD) pada air limbah rumah sakit
dengan menggunakan metode titrimetri refluks tertutup. Telah dilakukan
pemanasan sampel limbah rumah sakit yang sudah melalui proses pengolaan
selama 2 jam pada suhu 148oC didalam COD thermoreactor diperoleh bahwa
kadar COD pada air limbah yaitu minggu pertama 52,33mg/L, minggu kedua
63,62mg/L, minggu ketiga 68,42mg/L, minggu keempat 58,43mg/L dan minggu
kelima 46,54mg/L. Dari hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa air limbah
rumah sakit tersebut tidak melebihi standar maksimum yang telah ditetapkan oleh
KEP-58/MENLH/12/1995 tentang baku mutu air limbah rumah sakit.

Analysis of the levels of chemical oxygen demand (COD) in wastewater hospitals
using closed reflux titrimetric method. Has done heating samples of hospital waste
that passes through the refineries for 2 hours at a temperature of 148 ° C in COD
Thermoreactor obtained that level of COD in waste water that is the first week of
52.33 mg / L, the second week of 63.62 mg / L, the third week 68.42 mg / L, the
fourth week of 58.43 mg / L and the fifth week of 46.54 mg / L. From the results
obtained show that the hospital waste water does not exceed the maximum
standards set by KEP-58 / MENLH / 12/1995 concerning water quality standards
of hospital waste.
