Abstract
The study is aimed at measuring the effect of Inquiry based learning on the
students’ institutional TOEFL score, before, during, and after the treatment.

The study belongs to an experimental study using repeated measures design.
It is carried out at the sixth semester of English Department at IAIN Palangka
Raya 2015/ 2016 academic years. The subjects are 23 students. The One Way
ANOVA Repeated measure is applied in this study. Before testing the
hypotheses, a number of pre-required tests is conducted, such as normality,
homogeneity and Sphericity tests. The result of Shapiro- Wilk test for
testing normality was that (p= 0.832 > 0.05), the Levene test for testing
homogeneity (p= 0.276 > 0.05); and Mauchly test for testing Sphericity
(p=0.000 0.05), the Levene test for testing homogeneity (p= 0.276 >
0.05); and Mauchly test for testing Sphericity (p=0.000
