ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the characteristics of hydrology, how much the critical discharge (maximum
and minimum) that occurred in the catchment area of Padang Guci of regency Kaur provinceBengkulu.the

Guc. The research result indicate that wide of Catchment area is 526,89 lsn, by steep topography
to very steep is
56,10 o/o,flat to slope slightly is 43,90o/o. the catchment area of Padang Guci have
a long fomr by RE value is
0,39 minus 0,5 from the catchment area of Padang Guci by the sideways is 2,08 %o andby the diffirent
of
maximum high is 2-545m.The prime long river is 44,913 km and the longest river is 46,745 km.
By solid
drainage is relative normal and never have a flooded area and dried area-the yearsly rainfall
total catchment area
of Padang Guci is befween 2000-3000 mm/years level.And haye wet month during in year. catchment
area of
Padang Guci have A tipe B of climate,by the aquivalent of dry and wet month is 0,26. The
condition of use land
for mix dry agricuiture is 37,18 o/o and wct agriculture is 2,54o/c,the resisonce is !,2 yo and the fiorest
is 60,1g o/o.
for over 2 vears oid at the time. the maximum discharge in the catchment area padang Guci at l6z.9s7
m3/second and the minimum discharge at0,179 m3lsecond.
